These shutters look good, but there were no directions for installation. However, my husband was able to figure it out. I felt they were a bit pricey.

We put these shutters at all of our windows and what a difference it made to complete the look of our home. They were easy to install and The dark brown is very rich in color.

What can I say? I debated making my own. Glad I didn't. It was done in a very short amount of time. I bought extra fasteners but didn't need them. The larger panels came with extras. Very easy to install and glad it was plastic because I am by myself hanging these. I couldn't imagine heavy wood. Hints to consider: Get a long hammer drill bit for masonry and go in between bricks, bosh makes a good set of bits. And, use a rubber mallet to drive them in, not your hand (you might break a couple), and don't dimple them. Oh, try to make sure the fasteners are all exactly in the same place to one another between panels. Easy to NOT notice when 20 feet in the air but realize when you get down. Won't make that mistake twice!

This was one of the easiest shutters to install. Just a simple pilot hole and then tap the special parts right into the exterior of the house. It holds very tight and I installed 3 pairs of them in about 20 minutes. They look really good. I even took them to the paint center to get the color matched and then painted my door the same color!

We got 7 sets of these in various sizes. The house looks brand new with them up. Other than my husband saying it was a full body workout putting them up, it was easy as drilling a hole and pushing the ancors in. It required a hammer to get the anchors in and some did snap when you tried, but they come with extra. You have to drill six holes in each shutter so it took longer than we thought.

Installation is fairly easy. Tools needed are drill, drill bit, tape measure, level, and rubber mallet. Nice addition to the windows.

great product for the price! We purchased several pairs of these shutters about 10 years ago and they still look great. We purchased this pair for a new window on a home addition & everything matches perfectly. (One friendly tip: if mounting shutters to a brick surface, use a hammer drill to drill holes in the morter - it's much faster!)

Ok...so honestly I think the Shutters are well made. I am a bit disappointed in the color though, the Red almost has a tinge of purple in it, it's so dark, somewhat darker than what I was thinking. Just be careful when choosing this color

This is not a shutter, it is a cheesy hollow thin plastic panel that could be mounted next to a window and from a long distance away it would probably look like a shutter. I was disappointed in its appearance and quality and immediately sent it back. It was plastic junk.

Nice lightweight, sturdy shutters that were easy to hang. Classy looking shutters made a great difference in the look of the house.

These shutters add class and make the front of my house POP. They arrived on time and in perfect condition and were a breeze for my husband to instal on the front of our all brick ranch home. We are very happy with this purchase.

Easy, Easy, Easy - Just follow the instructions on the outside of the shipping carton and it won't take long to transform the exterior look of your house. All you need is a drill, masonry drill bit, standard drill bit (used to drill a hole in shutter once it was marked), pencil, tape measure and rubber mallet. Maybe a ladder and an extra hand too. It's a great weekend afternoon project. Good Luck!

The installation process for these shutters is extremely easy and once they are up they look really nice. The only concern I had was the flimsiness of the material, but supposedly they can with stand harsh weather.
