Beautiful Door, many compliments.

Alright so I read the reviews before we purchased this door and I knew the door didn't have the best paint job. We purchased it anyways. Honestly, I'm glad we did. For the price - this door is a good deal. It's really well made, very modern looking and the paint job is OK besides being on the windows. I used a razor blade to take the paint off and now it looks great. It came with extra paint which was nice. We had this professionally installed by some contractors at Home Depot and glad we did since I'm not sure how square the door frame was being very old. Overall, for the price - I'm really extremely happy with it. It makes a mid century house look modern and fantastic.

The doors arrived in SHAMBLES! One piece of card with 2 pieces of strapping close together. Threshold on one door cracked with 3” strip hanging off. Scratches and footprints all over the doors. The shipping company told me the doors arrived in that condition which she made note of. EXTRA POOR!

I was so disappointed in this door - it is beautiful but a lot of flaws. There was paint all over the windows, which we attempted to scrape off. There were white spots were there was no paint. The hinges were in the wrong place so our contractor has to redo them. For a door of this expense, it should have been flawless.

I love my new door. We have a 1956 ranch style home and it's perfect. The only small negative is the paint is not perfect around a couple of the windows. But the door arrived in a timely manner and it was a breeze picking it up at the local Home Depot store. All in all I'm very pleases!

Love this modern door! It was some more money than other boring looking door, but it was well worth the money for the design and sturdy construction. Made my apartment entrance worth a million!!

From factory it measures exactly, if the opening on the house had been square it would have been over and in in minutes. Attractive door that closes solidly, our choice of hardware required an additional hole to be drilled and that was not a problem. The matt finish is perfect.Hinges are strong, seal is well engineered. glad we made the purchase. Added benefit is the Frenchie and Corgi now have a window to see who is approaching, see photo.

This is a very good door for the money and the look fits perfectly with a midcentury house. We ordered it primed and painted it ourselves so I can't comment on the factory paint job. We ordered the rain glass and its privacy is very good. No one will be able to see inside your house if they put their eye to the glass and you can see the size and shape of a person if you look out from inside. You will need a peephole if you want to recognize people or see further than 5' in font of the door. The standard satin nickel hinges were fine with us as it is the same as our other doors in our house but someone else may not want them if they have oil rubbed bronze or brass hardware. In my area (MN) the standard 4-9/16" jamb width will be about 3/4"-1" too narrow for most midcentury houses. Plan on adding extension jambs and a snap-on aluminum sill extension to the exterior. For me the price of this standard door more than offsets the little bit of time, material and $ to customize the depth for a deeper wall thickness

From the outside, the new red door really stands out in our somewhat stodgy neighborhood. From the inside, the door adds the finishing touch to the new dark grey tile floor and newly paint red and grey walls.

We were pleased to find that Home Depot carries, online, a contemporary series of front doors. The one we ordered was as described, and through Home Depot it was professionally installed. The door is as described in its specs and more than met our expectations.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the craftsmanship of this door. Should have relied on the several negative reviews stating all the issues I came to experience myself. It is a beautifully designed door. It certainly was not cheap but it surely is cheaply made! Paint either chipping around the glass or painted on the glass and when you try to clean up - paint comes off the frame as well :( Also, the worst part is the top window opening is installed crooked!! I was not at home when the door was being installed or else I would have told the installer to just leave it and would have returned this door! Now that it got installed, and it is winter, I don't want to mess with the door at this point and will have to deal... Very disappointing!

Unit came in two weeks later then it was supposed to when ordered. Quality looks good, but because of the delay we had to go with another door style to complete the project on time, so we could not use the door.

Paint is chipping off rhe door and touch up paint that comes with it (they must expect this) doesn’t color match. It’s a mess.

It fits well and looks great! The included touch up paint came in handy after our other remodeling left a scuff on the door.

Buyer beware! Look carefully at the customer images. Trim around the lites is antique, not the clean mid-century minimalist lines as in the stock image used by Home Depot. Totally ruins the look of the door.

Nice looking door but the paint is peeling off already. Good thing I paid extra to have it pre-painted. It lasted an entire four weeks

I received my door free of damage, however very little contact with even a finger nail lifts the paint with ease. It appears a very low quality latex paint was used and only one coat. I'm having to completely strip the door and repaint the door. I paid extra for the painted version, but now I'm spending hours of my free time and more money into paint and materials to refinish it. Wish I would have bought the primed/unfinished version up front. All in all I'm happy with the door it self. Decent purchase, but the finish was sub par.

I love the door and it seems to be good quality, but they sent the wrong color. Other than color, I love it.

We purchased the "raw" version - unpainted. It required sanding of the trim - the plugs were generally proud, but pretty much expected that. I like the look of the door, but the position of the windows turns out to be a bit odd. The top window starts at 69" and the one below ends at 60". So, unless you are 5' or shorter, or about 6' or taller, you need to stoop to look out the window to see who is at the door! It was a special order and it took a long time to arrive - it evidently sat in a warehouse en route. When we called to inquire we were given an arrival date and the warehouse news; on the expected date we called again and they told us yes, it's in, and has been for several days. A call, text or email would have been nice!
