Heater is a inferior product. At this time I have had to return three fans 1st one the fan would not work.2nd one motor would not work. 3rd one blades on fan was broken on arrival. 4th one has not been installed. Have had to hire an electrician at least 4 times to connect and disconnect this appliance Do not purchase this appliance. No stars for this appliance

This heather was a replacement for the exact heater we had installed 12 years ago. It’s very effective heating a 15 X 16 ft room with a high ceiling and windows on 3 walls. We took the old heater out and slid the new one in. Everything was InThe same place and easy to reconnect.

Great product performed as expected

Nice product, but a little noisy on the fan.

New installation in a 400sqft room. Fan wobbled making a loud noise. On/off delay was very long making it hard to test the heater, and after 1-2 hours would not turn on no matter what the control knob setting was (and yes I checked the reset button). After 3 hours of testing, fan motor stalled causing a loud transformer buzz, but more importantly, the heater continued to heat, getting very hot due to no air circulation, and caused the smoke detector near ceiling height to go off. I even tried manually starting the fan by hand. It would start to turn, then stall again. Very poor design.

A rather basic and simple product. Faceplate was plain.

We installed one of these units in a home we built 6 years ago in a bathroom. Worked great, and put out a LOT of heat. The builder installed it, so I'm not sure how easy it was to install. The only complaint is the dial or "thermostat" doesn't have the actual temperature on the dial. It just reads 1-10, so if you're looking to set it at an exact temperature, you're out of luck. We didn't need to, so it didn't really bother me.

Professionally installed with the 4,000 watt option in a large 300sf master bathroom, this heater overheats causing the limit switch to shut it off and then it can't be restarted for 10-15 minutes until after it has cooled down. After installing the new limit switch that Broan sent which did not fix the problem, support then said "that's the way it is because the heater is only meant run for a few minutes to boost the temperature a few degrees". Now they tell me...

Installed this heater 2 years ago and to this day it continue to trip the protection reset. I have installed the optional wall thermostat and it still trips before it shuts down. We have gone to a portable and the Broan is not used, not reliable...

The purchase was a breeze, the delivery was FREE and on time, the packaging was great with no problems upon delivery, and the product itself worked as it was advertised to work. What's to complain about? Thank you Home Depot. You've managed to make be a believer!

Easy to install. Installed in a insulated greenhouse on the side our new home. 10x20 space with 10' angled ceiling. Keeps it cozy warm.

I had read other reviews that this heater is noisy, and thought they were being unreasonable in their expectations of quietness. But it turns out they were right. I purchased a second one but it had the same problem. I ended up getting a QMark (Marley) heater and it has a normal noise level, and looks better built. I had chosen the Broan heater because it was very close in size to the one I was replacing, so would not require any patching on the wall. I will never waste my time with Broan heaters again.

This heater is equipped with a cheap electric motor. The shaft is loose which causes it to wobble and make noise. If you don't mind a rattling noise then it shouldn't bother you. I know what I'm talking about and if you research other reviews you will find I'm not the only unsatisfied customer.

I had to order the same product again to replace the old one. It runs even worse than the first one. It is so loud & doesn't even heat that well.

It was relatively easy to install. It does intermittently sound off with a low-rumbling while running. Still, it serves its purpose well. It might have helped to clearly indicate the on & off settings. It definitely is important to note that there are relatively brief start-up and cooling down periods. The owner should not be alarmed to observe that the motor is still running after it has been turned off.

Heater is easy to install where no heater was before. Easy to follow instructions. More then enough heat for a small studio apartment in southern Missouri.

First the positives - the heating performance is impressive, the unit was easy to install, and the remote thermostat works as advertised. Manufacturer customer service is very good. Unfortunately we've had problems too. The first blower motor developed a rumbling noise and gave out after 3 years. A replacement motor was installed and developed the same rumbling noise. Customer service at Broan basically said these units are sensitive to fan balance, which is pretty hard for a customer to sort out. Lastly, the unit makes a big racket on shutdown, a resonance in the sheet metal.

Worked well in my pool room and installed easy. It needs better instruction on how it works. The fan continues to run after the heater turns off until it is cooled. At first it appears the fan runs all the time. Also the high/low should be printed on the enclosed to make it easier to understand.

I installed this to replace an older wall heater unit. Installation was fairly easy, although instructions were not included so I had to go on-line and pull up the installation sheet, and it heats the 560 square foot family room just fine.

This is a 240 volt 3000 watt in-wall heater. Once the heater's knob is turned on, it takes more than a few seconds for it to actually turn on. The same is true when you turn the knob off, the heater does not turn off immediately. This heater generates adequate heat, but I thought it would have put out more heat at its size. I have had smaller in-wall heaters put out more heat for their size. The heater was purchased primarily because it fit the same size opening as the older replacement unit. But my only complaints are due to the disappointing heat output and the delay in the unit turning on/off.
