We bought a similar chair from Walmart that broke when my husband sat down the first time so we were happy that this one is sturdy and built a lot better. I put this together myself and I'm 68 years old. There were definitely some tight pieces but I took a cloth to protect the wood and tapped gently with a hammer. I had rather it be a tight fit than loose. We are enjoying this chair every day.

They are not weather resistant! They are falling apart and we’ve only had them one year. The material is so cheap, there’s no way they are made of solid wood if my homemade bench can outlast these chairs.

I'm so happy with these rockers (purchased 4 for porch). They are easy to assemble - my husband and I used a drill. The color is a nice bright white, which looks great. The quality is very good; especially at a $99 price point. Additionally my husband is very satisfied with the purchase.

The rockers were easy to put together, but I did use a bar clamp before screwing it together. I also paint mine before putting together and I do have to say they came out great. Paint the white chair with LSU colors and the black chair with Saints colors

I purchased two of these rockers for the front porch of my home. The assembly instructions are clear but I did have some trouble putting them together. If you are not a handy person then you will have some trouble. The chair back and all of the spindles had a build up of excess paint which made it impossible to insert them into their respective holes. After removing the excess paint the assemby went pretty smoothly until the final step where you install the seat screws. The seat screws don't even come close to aligning with the predrilled holes in the seat. I had to drill my own holes to complete the seat attachment. Assembly of the first chair took me about 2 hours. The assembly of the second chair took me about 1 hour. TIP # 1 - Sanding the excess paint from the spindles by hand takes too long. I just carefully used the wire brush wheel on my bench grinder.... quick and easy! TIP # 2 - I applied self-adhesive felt strips (1/2" x 34") to the underside of the runners to protect the painted floor of my front porch.... see photo.

Nice looking rockers - went together easily - just right for summer nights

I gave it a fair rating for quality because both chairs arrived with a nickel sized dent on the left slat in the same place on both chairs. The paint was also chipped on both of those places. Paint is starting to chip off arms. These rockers sit on a covered porch. This is not the quality I expected especially after owning them for 4 weeks.

The directions were detailed enough to put it together in an hour or so. Seems quite sturdy and can stand up in the weather. Great finish on the paint.

Good The taper of the plugs is such that they fall out.

This product was okay to assemble (not as easy as it looked) and it looks quite nice. But... it does not rock well at all. It takes too much effort to get it to rock even just a little bit. Really sorry. I wish it would as it looks so pretty. If you want pretty, then buy it... If you want a good rocker, then I would recommend purchasing something else.

The chairs were excellent. We had them assembled by the Home Depot store. Chairs were lightweight. Gorgeous finish and looks fantastic on my daughters front porch. We got them for her 1st purchased house and her birthday. Just Beautiful.

Beautiful, sturdy, classic looking rocking chair. I purchased two for my front porch back in October 2020, and we love them so much I’ve come back to buy two more so everyone in the house has their own chair on the porch! Really hoping they’re back in stock soon, I’d love to have four matching chairs and I’ve been so pleased with the quality of these!

Very nice chair this was our second purchase, first time was pre assembled, this time was assemble your self, assembly was not the easiest, however, once assembled it’s a very nice rocker at the Home Depot price.

Nice, large, comfortable rocker

Very hard to assemble, parts did not fit, direction are ok. (Next time will order assemble) quality was good. a few part were chipped had to sand and re-paint.

This chair is lovely and perfect for my patio, however the first chair I purchased didn’t have holes drilled into one side of one of the bars, so I couldn’t assemble it. I was able to get a replacement, but getting that mess back into the box and back to Home Depot was frustrating. The chairs that I got that had all the holes didn’t line up perfectly with the corresponding parts, so the chair is assembled and probably no one notices but me that things aren’t perfectly aligned. They just creak a little. These chairs are pretty and a good deal for the money.

For the price these are decent, however after only a couple of months the paint is already cracking, which leads to pealing. Eventually I’ll probably sand, clean and repaint with a gloss white paint (which they should have used) instead of a satin white. Maybe they would hold up better under a completely dry porch, as ours does get hit with some sideways rain every now and then.

It was a little difficult putting together but in the end it was all worth it, I wanted country look and that what I got
