Works great when you are by yourself. And need to measure out a potential job or even around the house. I keep mine in my pocket and use it at least a half a dozen times a day.

Very disappointed in this laser. I purchased it to measure some inside distances that are difficult to measure with a tape measure. It is not accurate at all. It measured one distance as 32 1/16" but the board that fit into the opening had to be cut to 31 13/16". Off by 1/4". I measured multiple distances, the closest was off by 1/8". Longer distances seemed to be closer. Laser measured long every time. I will be returning.
