I can no longer stand long enough to cook. I purchased this stool so that I could sit while cutting veggies, stirring pots, etc.(I don't just throw frozen food in the microwave). The stool is perfect counter height & the swivel allows me to use counter space stovetop,& sink while remaining seated. Cushioned seat & backrest are very comfortable. It is also a beautiful piece of furniture. I was able to assemble it easily myself, sitting most of the time. If I had a bar in my house, I would buy several. I highly recommend this product.

Love these bar stools! They look like we paid far more than we did. Great quality, smooth swivel motion and they were easy to assemble! We haven’t finished with surrounding decor, but boy, they sure look great.

this is a great chair, great to sit in for long time, and it looks very nice in the house....

Very attractive piece of furniture. The wood is beautiful. Stool swivels nicely, and I like the height and cushion. The only drawback, however, is, a person with a big 'bootie' might prefer to sit back a little further than the back rest allows for. I am 5' 2" and 150 lbs (female). It's OK for me, but, folks a little heavier found it uncomfortable. But, it is sooooooo pretty. I really like it a lot.

Beautiful rich honey colored oak bar stool. Swivel easily and the padded seat cover makes comfortable to sit on. Love it!

The swivel plates could be larger for more stability as the bearings wear. Otherwise they are great for the price.
