My valve is the smaller 1/4” square drive, I have to keep moving key about to get it to fit over the square drive and it keeps slipping off when turning. Glad I don’t use the fire very often.

I purchased two, one for each gas fireplace and we are very happy. The color is perfect, they match the gold tone on the fireplace doors exactly! They each work well and it beats bending down to the floor each time you want to turn the gas on or off.
