No lip to hold the pot in place. Did not use it for that reason. Safety comes first.

First and only time using it I couldn't get it to stay lit. There was no leaks or air in the line. I also tried different propane tanks. Not sure if I just received a defective unit but I returned it without replacement.

I have not used this Burner yet, but bought one after seeing a friend's Burner, and I wanted one like it. Will be great for Steaming Oysters and for Blackened Grouper or other fish. I bought one for a friend at the same time.

Absolute garbage. Very flimsy construction, and sub standard materials. This should cost $20, at most. Severe safety issues evident, and could have led to a serious fire had I not been paying close attention: gas hose came apart at the burner and was spraying fire all over my deck. Absolutely unforgivable, I'm embarrassed for wasting a gift card on this.

Just what I wanted!

Burner did a great job cooking a turkey on Christmas day. The heat output was greater than my old burner and made all my guests happy and they left full of turkey.

Heats water very fast.. It is easy to light and easy to adjust.

leaky regulator, from factory crimp, on first use. Called company (as box suggested) multiple times and left messages. No response whatsoever.

It assembled in under 5 minutes, & when activated, brought water in a huge steaming pot to a boil much quicker than on a conventional stove.

I was getting ready to leave store when I was approached by a store employee who asked if I found what I was looking for, when I said no he took me to a computer and ordered exactly what I wanted The cooker base arrived at my home 6 days later . With that kind of service I will return to home depot..

Only negative is the fact you have to pre-burn it to remove the paint. Why paint it in the first place?

This burner is prefect for home brewing, brings water to a hard boil quick. I also used it to cook stew in my 10" dutch oven.

I used it for brewing a 5 gallon pot of beer. It worked great - just burn it for 20 minutes before performing your actual boil. It needs to burn the paint off and you don't want to taint your food/brew.

As advertised, a very stable base, lots of heat and great sound!! Used it on Thanksgiving for frying a turkey. Heated oil quickly, and adjusted well to maintain the proper cooking temp. Before using do fire it up and let it burn off the paint. Highly recommended.

Jet burner is right. My neighbor came over as soon as I turned it on it was so loud. Burns super clean and hot. No problem boiling 5 gallons and easy to control the boil. Turn it on and let it burn about 15 minutes before your going to use it as all the paint just melts off the burner.

This product is a great price here for home brewing. Much cheaper than the SP-10 sold in brew stores, and the only difference is the wind guard, which isn't really that necessary in the first place.

Unit works as it should. I just used it this past Sunday for the first time and it was able to bring 6.5 gallons of wort to boil in about 10-15 mins. in a 1mm think SS Kettle. Cant wait to use it again on my next brew day!

My 32 QT pot fit perfectly (14" dia). Very satisfied. Make sure you are in a well venilated area because the paint will burn off. No biggie. Great product.
