I bought this set during as part of the Daily Extra Special Super Deluxe Deal or whatever it's called. At that price, it was a great bargain. It seems to go in and out of stock frequently so good timing and a little luck might be needed to grab it at the right price but if you can, it's definitely worth it. I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked it and found it to be pretty high quality. When I started looking to upgrade my patio set, I was floored at the price for what looked like average quality furniture. This set is a good middleground in that it has the quality of teak but is still relatively inexpensive. The chairs are sturdy and comfortable and have held up to the weather so far. There will be some ongoing maintenance involved since I would like to keep the new teak color and don't want to let the wood turn grey however it only took a couple of hours to seal the set and I'm hoping to have to do that only once or twice a year. My only issue is that there is a metal rod inside one of the chairs' legs that rattles when the chair is moved. I'm assuming it's there to reinforce the leg and must have become detached in shipping. It doesn't seem to affect the integrity of the chair so I have thus far successfully ignored it without repercussions. I'm sure I could have called the 800 number but it's really more of an annoyance.

My wife and I love the teak patio set. So glad we got our hands on what appears to be one of the last sets this season. I definitely recommend sealing w Semco as other reviewers have noted. The teak weathers quickly. Buy the Semco 2 part cleaner to use before sealing if the table is weathered and dirty. **Picture shown is after treating with semco honey color after one month of owning set

I bought this set about a month ago and it seemed like a nice patio set after first. Assembly was quick and easy. I keep this outside on my back patio and I'm in GA. It seems like some wood is drying out while other pieces are getting mold. It doesn't make sense that some boards are getting mold while some others are starting to crack and drying out badly. I would love to return this item and am going to try to. I would recommend that anyone who buys this needs to treat the wood with something, unless you just get lucky and get a better product than I got.

It was easy to assemble and fits great in my small patio on my townhouse!

It is a very sturdy and a very pretty looking patio set. The wood top matches with my pergola wood. The table needed assembly of the legs which was very easy to do. Table wood top is very sturdy and high quality. Chairs are comfortable to sit. Perfect for the outdoor dinner parties.

Wanted an affordable seven piece set but not a glass top, loved the look of the wood slats. Conditioned the wood with Teak Oil, we'll see how it holds up! Unfortunately I think the squirrels in our yard stole the umbrella plug :( Came in three very large boxes, two boxes with three chairs stacked in each (assembled) and then a long flat box with the table. Simply had to throw the legs on the table and we were ready to use it! Chairs are light but sturdy, haven't blown across the yard yet. Several grill outs confirm it's a great set! Found online, on sale for $400 from $600 for a seven piece set - couldn't pass it up. Shipped to store (free), upon notification that it was ready for pickup I noticed the price had dropped by another hundred dollars. After working with customer service we were credited the difference - Home Depot has been a great pleasure to work with, and we love the patio set!

I bought this on a daily special deal. (Had been looking at used sets on a FB garage sale site for weeks and they all cost about what this one did new!) The delivery was free and came early and was as described by many other reviewers. I was able to put this together by myself before my husband got home from work. It was fast, easy and uncomplicated. After reading a number of reviews, I used teak oil on it the day I set it up. We've been using it for almost a month now and have no complaints. It's beautiful and comfortable. For those that wonder how it fits for larger people - my husband is approx 280# and he thinks the chairs are very comfortable. I find he goes out there almost every day after work to relax and enjoy the fresh air. Also came home from work one day to find my daughter out there with her books spread out doing homework on it. No idea how it'll hold up over the next year but if it only lasts one season, this was still a great buy.

I was looking for a table n chairs large enough for summer bbq's and dinners on the deck. But I didn't want a glass top, or chairs with padding/pillow as we live in a 4 seasons state and would need to find storage for 6 months out of the year for the extra cushions. This set fit the bill perfectly! Delivered in 3 large boxes on a pallet. Packaged fairly well although there were a few imperfections (minor white scuffs on a few of the legs of the chairs) not enough to return. Assembly: one of the holes meant for the leg screws didn't line up, but problem fixed with a few bangs of a hammer. Other than that very quick to assemble as the chairs come finished. We did put a coat of teak oil on the table top and chair arms which made the teak slightly richer in color but I love it. Couldn't be happier with this purchase! A seven set for under 300 bucks with delivery?? What more could you ask for...

We could not be happier with this patio set! We were looking at a much more expensive option from a large chain store, but found this and for the price, had to try it. We purchased this set and two additional chairs. We loved how easy it was to assemble, and how comfortable and sturdy the set is! We did end up sealing all the wood, but that was a very easy process, and we are thrilled with how good the sealed wood looks. We live in North Carolina, and the set is in a screened in porch, so we anticipate having it for years. Best part was - We purchased it full price, and when it went on sale, Home Depot adjusted our price, so we got the entire set for $258 - a real steal. Highly recommend it!

When we purchased this set it was on backorder and we were about ready to cancel it, but I'm glad we didn't. The other reviewers were spot on with their assessment, the product is built strong with quality and the wood really shines to make this a beautiful modern backyard patio set. The only item that we had to put together and the legs for the table which took about 10 minutes. Like the other reviewers mentioned, we did add a Teak Oil stain to the wood to make it really shine and to prevent any weather damage. We are very pleased with this product and looking forward to a lot of backyard parties and BBQs.

I purchased this set on sale after stalking if for a while online and had it shipped to my local store for pickup. It looked great right out of the box, but I decided to seal the wood to prevent fading or mold on the untreated wood. If you don't seal the wood, it will eventually be bleached gray by the sun, and other reviews have noted mold on untreated wood. I used Th*mps**'s wood oil/waterproofing (natural - no tint) and it really brought out the beautiful wood grain. I sealed the bottom of the table before installing the legs and then flipped it over and did the table top and chair armrests. Installing the table legs could not have been simpler and took about 5 minutes. The chairs come fully assembled and are very comfortable. The whole set is extremely solid. The table legs have adjustable feet so you can level it on uneven surfaces. The pictures online sometimes make the paint look gray but it is definitely a brown/taupe-gray. I like the color and it looks good on our patio, but if you are looking for a true gray or blue-gray, this may be too brown for you. I got it for half price, but I think it would be worth every penny at full retail - I would highly recommend this set.

Came in 3 packages that surprisingly fit my SUV. The appearance of the teak wood is ordinary out of the box, but when I applied transparent wood sealer (waterproofing sealer), the color of the wood came to life! I recommend doing this to make the wood appear more vivid as well as protect it from the outdoor elements. Very easy to do, just apply the sealer using a sponge.

Love the look and size of the table. Love that the chairs are stackable and that dry quick after it rains. I just bought a teak sealer that I will put on this weekend. This product claims that it will protect the wood from oil / butter / red wine stains and water rings from glasses.

Had been looking for a larger table. Got a Patio Sale Email. Opened to see this set for 57% off. $599 regular for $251. Bingo Online order came in about 5 days. Picked up at store. Excellent quality. Worth every penny at $599. My lucky day. I ordered a new 9 ft umbrella which was just too small for this set. Returned it no hassle and ordered the 11 ft which is perfect . Reading all the reviews I ordered a teak sealer which I applied. Fabulous look, well made. With just a little annual care it will last and last. Nothing but compliments from everyone that has see it. Wow!! This table is fantastic. Not much more needed. Its well built and comfy.

I wanted some teak but not too much. This set has just enough to make it look beautiful but not too much to take care of. The quality of construction and attention to detail make this set a good purchase. The only work was attaching the four table legs with the stainless steel fastners and sealing the teak. You do not have to seal the wood but it will quickly fade, turn gray or as some have reported, develop mold spots. I used Cetol Natural Teak finish to seal the wood with two coats. My experience using this product on boats is that it will last a year looking like new.

Easy to assemble with good quality aluminum material but wood is not finished and to stay on weather needs a sealant.

Could be an issue with the wood table top. After being in the elements for only one week, the table top started to mildew.

Looks great, clean and modern design. Well made, sturdy. Chairs stackable and comfortable. No cushions needed, can sit in these for hours. Rustproof frame. Easy to clean and little maintenance necessary. Chairs and table are the perfect height and this table is slightly longer than others, makes for more spacious dining. One of the teak slats had a chip in the end, called up customer service and was sent two new slats, easy to replace. Did a little light sanding, applied teak oil and a coat of spray on Thompson's to the wood and it looks amazing and water just beads up. Or you can let it weather and gray, if that's your preference. I'm going to order the loungechair and side table to match on our deck. Comparable sets at the local outdoor furniture showroom cost over three times as much. Got on sale for $900 and will probably be on sale again or clearance later this summer. I expect this set to last many years with proper maintenance.

We chose this table since it was modern looking and less than half the price of similar products elsewhere. Only concern I had was longevity given the price range. We've had it now for 1.5 years on a screened porch and it has held up beautifully. I initially treated it with teak oil (Temco) to try to keep the pretty red color of the wood and prevent weathering/fading for a while. I just had to clean & retreat it for the first time 18 months later and after only 60 minutes or so it looks like new again. Highly recommend.

love this set looks like the more expensive set from Crate and Barrel at a fraction of the price. Went on line to purchase more pieces ie the side table and lounge chairs but must be sold out?

I fell in love with this patio dining set after shopping at three or four other retailers. It was well packaged and fit in my SUV with the back seats folded down. The looks are great, the chairs are comfortable, and I like the way the teak has weathered over the past two years. However... I paid well over $800 for this set two years ago, and now it is $599. My main concern, aside from the much larger price tag I succumbed to, is the paper wasps that crawl all over this table every day, chewing on the wood. My young children are terrified of bees, so we haven't used this table for dining more than five or six times in two years because the kids run inside whenever they see a wasp. I have tried several different methods to deter the wasps but am probably going to have to write this up as a bad purchase and find a metal dining set at another retailer.

We purchased the table, chairs, sun beds and accent table and had problems with all items. We live in Georgia and in the summer the wood lost its color, became cracked and then by the Fall the wood started to become black and moldy. I would not recommend this product but Home Depot was helpful in resolving our issues. 5 stars for Home Dept - 1 star (because I liked the way it looked) for the product.

This set is very nice for the price (on sale). It looks great and was easy to assemble. The aluminum frames and teak wood should last a long time. I did use a water based teak conditioner on it after lightly sanding and cleaning. The teak looked even better after the conditioning. I expect it to last as long as we want to keep it. There should be no rust or rotting. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Product arrived in a timely manner. It was very easy to set up. My 16 year old daughter was able to put it together with out an issue and it looks great on our deck.

This set is much nicer than I expected for the price. The frame is very sturdy and the welds are ground and smooth on both the table and chairs. The top and arms should be sealed (I used two coats of teak oil). The wood is very nice and clean with no knots, and sanded smooth.

I purchased this set in May 2016. I finally received it in June after my delivery day was changed. I received one chair with a broken arm (the teak part) and the top of the chair was gouged and the paint was scraped off. The another chair that seems like it will brake when you sit on it. I called home depot customer service and they said they would ship out 2 new chairs and to return the damaged ones to home depot. Thankfully I had not had the chance to do so because it received an email a couple days later stating they would not replace my damaged chairs and to call the Hampton Bay customer service dept. I called them and they had me take pictures of the chairs and send it to them. They stated the one that seemed like it will brake was fine and it was just something loose in the leg. Also that they would send the Teak part of the chair and some touch up paint for me to fix it. I received the teak part the end of June. Problem with it is that there are no holes pre drilled into the wood. So I have to find a someone to do that. I did not receive the touch up paint so after a follow up email I finally received it yesterday. Problem with that is I cant open either bottles they sent ( they were nail polish looking bottles) they smelled really bad from the outside the packaging. Upon opening they had appeared to have leaked and covered in paint are now stuck shut. I am beyond frustrated with this set. it is now halfway through July and have not had the chance to use the whole set. this product was not worth the money....even if it was on sale! I don't really even want it anymore and don't want to pay what I was charged for damaged items that I now have to fix.

we bought this table during Memorial Day Flash Sale - was a GREAT DEAL! I was a little worried about the quality because the price was so low, but I really liked the style so I went for it. I'm so glad I did! The price is comparable to cheap entry level patio furniture, the kind you'd find at off-brand retail like Big Lots, etc. but with the style and quality of fine furniture. The color and style is great for those looking for something more modern and minimal. The chairs are very comfortable, and the table is very sturdy. The teak wood is beautiful with a gorgeous marled finish. We did protect it with teak oil the second we unpacked it - we oiled both the top table surface and underneath. (Tip: do this before you put the table together or you'll have to oil from underneath - messy!)
