After just reading the labels it says 49.75% pure seed with 50% coating material. This websites describes 100% seed. I'm pretty concerned so I will try growing tiles to start.

A picture is worth a thousand words! Four weeks after seeding.

Not dichondra. Will have to hire someone to clean up this mess.

Disappointing. What has grown looks nothing like the picture on the seed container. As another reviewer also noted, I will have to pull up whatever it is, and plant something else. Unfortunate waste of time and money.

The seeds are colored bright so it was easy to notice missed spots and ensure good ground coverage. Not sure if anything else changed with the product other than colored seeds, but it is just a week and the seeds are already sprouting, and I am having much better success than last time.

Planted the seeds September 15th and only had a few seedlings come up. Hoping for more in order to have ground cover.

Once planted, a huge storm came and washed much of the seeds away. Time will tell if many of the seeds survived.

Seed germinated in a week.

I ordered two 1# containers, planted and followed directions, and less than half of the seed came up. So ordered more to fill in where it did not come up. The package says 90% germination rate, but i would say it's more like 50% or less. Not 100% Happy with it>

The seeding worked fine. However, only consider using in areas that have minimal sun exposure (2 hours maximum). Any areas that have longer sun exposure than that will most likely not survive, even if you water everyday (which is not practical)!!!! I also have a strong suspicion that this seed does not work well in areas that do not have ANY sun exposure so you have to find a good balance. This is coming from experience from someone that lives in central Texas, take it with a grain of salt. Planted in late March 2021 and some areas did not survive. I watered daily until the seeds sprouted (took a few weeks) but after a month or two, I only watered about twice a week.

I live in NC. I want to plant the native Dichondra species. Dichondra is a genus so I'd like you to label which species these seeds are.

Last summer i gave a review on your seed going on about how great your seed was. Well I've changed my mind. I bought new seed in the fall to fill in some deaf spots from the dog urine. It came up with nothing but weeds it is all over my lawn looks like clover somewhat with a yellow flower. I am so disappointed. My lawn is full of this weed and don't know what to spray to get rid of the weed. You sent me an email last fall i am now replaying it horrible

was planted by a professional after frost danger over. watered properly, and nothing germinated. i can only assume the seeds were dead before i received them. i cant imagine this was intentional, but the result speaks for itself.

I know this product was faulty because I placed the seeds in containers and grew them. The result was a multi-leaf jagged weed. I want my money back, even though I had to wait to grow the fake dichondra.

Great germination rate. Just have to keep it moist, water 3 times a day until germinates.

Just what I wanted.

I tried a cheaper brand but the yield was very disappointing. This seed came up nVery fast

I wanted to wait a month or so before providing a product review. At the time that I placed this order I was paying close attention to the weather forecast and weekly/monthly history for our area. I know that dichondra needs to have a temperature range between 70 degrees during the day and 50 degrees at night. Needlessly to say my timing was perfect. Weeks prior to "planting" I had given the soil many "servings" of compost tea (4 cups manure mixed with 5 gallons water and 1/4 cup of fish emulsion with air pumped into the container for 24 hours). I took a thatching rake to prepare the surface of the soil. The reason why I'm mentioning this is to show you the reader that I took all necessary step to have the base area ready for seed. Now as for the product itself it took about two weeks to germinate (average is about 6 - 10 days). The germination rate (percentage) was only about 50% (not good). Slowly but surely the area (gets about 6 hours of sun) is filling in with this clover. It's only taken me FIVE purchases to seed an area that's only 320 square feet. And just so you know being retired allowed me to always be around to ensure that the soil/seed was kept moist (without over watering). This is the reasons why this product only gets a "Fair" review. The reason why I'm recommending this product is because here in Phoenix it's a much better choice than Bermuda grass which is a weed. I can't wait to throw away my small electric lawnmower.
