We bought this drill for small projects since we lived in an apartment and didn't need much done. But we make sure it's charged use it for a few minutes and the next day it's dead. I'm not sure why but it just can't hold a charge. Definitely spend the extra money and get a better more powerful drill. If you really only need it for small things like hanging pictures or something like that, this would totally work.

The product is very easy to handle overall. The grip is secure and it's very easy to change the drill or screw bits. I've used it several times and haven't had to charge it yet, so the battery life is very efficient. This was definitely one of the best purchases I have made in tools since I can use it for so many things.

Good bargain for what I will use it for. Light duty work mostly. I have only used it for a couple of weeks so I don't have a lot of experience to say whether it will handle all the jobs I want or that it good fit (size, weight, etc.). I did note that the display model in the store had pictures on the adjustment device that showed what setting to use for the particular application. That appeared to be a handy feature for someone like me who is not a professional. The actual drill that I bought, did not have this feature. This isn't a deal breaker but, the sample model displayed should reflect the actual product purchased.

We had a very old one of the same make and model. When we finally lost the charger, we decided to go the most affordable route and get a new one of the same kind. This one is far better than the old one, perfect for moderate around the house use, smaller in the hand and less clunky that the older one... and as a bonus, we can use the same battery from the old, and charge it too, so now we have 2!

So I had a major project to get done and had my brother help me out. I needed a second drill and since I only needed it for the one job I decided to go with this cheaper model. It definitely held in there with battery life and contended in drive power with my 18-volt drill. I think there were a couple knots that my brother could just not get through without the extra volts, but all in all definitely a great extra drill and great around the house tool.

I bought this because I’m a single woman and I have lots of handyman type repairs around my home. This just lightweight easy to use and came with excellent instructions so I know how to operate it properly I have high regard for black and decker products as that is what my father always spot I am more than satisfied with his excellent Black & Decker drill

I previously had another brand, but it was stolen. This product appeared cheaper with comparable quality

I LOVE my drill. Just the right size for me to handle.....for my crafts or problems to fix around the house. As a older lady I needed something with power but not too heavy and this fits the bill on all counts!

I have this drill for 7 years, on the 2nd year I stored it becouse the battery cant be charged any more, one moth ago I found it during cleanig my closet, I opened the battery holder and change the NiCd battery for a 3 units in series of UR18650AA Panasonic Cells and used a Lithium battery 12V charger, now the drill works better, seeams to have bigger torque, and th operation time is much longer.

My husband and I are big DYI’ers. Problem is, he takes his tools to work every day so I invested in this drill for myself. It’s light enough for my hands and works great when I need to get stuff done around the house or barn. Easy to use and last a long time. Love it!

Battery only lasts for a few holes. Always dead battery when you need it, rubbish!!!

What is the point of a cordless drill if it doesn't hold charge over 10 minutes and takes hours to charge.

This is my absolute favorite drill. I use It for all my home improvements. I did buy an extra battery pack because if you doing projects all day It will die. I love the cordless feature!

As other reviews said the battery won’t stay charged. I don’t use it much and now it’s useless

I bought this drill a few years ago and have had no trouble with it or the battery. I use it infrequently, but if averaged out, it must be about six weeks a year. For normal household projects like mounting shelves, installing blinds, repairing, and building stuff - this is an easy and effective tool.

This thing is amazing. Especially if you are looking for a drink that you can use to build a deck, and then burn it down. I had it charging for approximately 20 minutes the other day and came back to a charred counter and a flaming battery and melted drill. The best part is that it happened after using the drill less than 10 times. Well worth the money if you're a pyro.

i buy it for home tool,seldom to use it.when it would be use the battery cant be use for two.and the battery cost for the drill price.

I bought this couple years ago works fine for small house projects, this drills the wall perfectly and lightweight to use or easy to hold it for long time, I like it has 24 position clutch and variable reverse speed drilling also driving controls, i haven't seen no issue so far with mechanism but a little disappointed with the battery cause my battery dying fast other than that everything was good.

I must have used mine less than a dozen times and battery is drained.

I’ve had it for at least ten years and beat it up but keeps going. Not very powerful for drilling metal but will do most light household tasks. Battery life isn’t great I bought a black and decker quick charger and leave it near the drill

So much lighter than the one I replaced with this one. Easy to hold and handle.

I like the drill but I lost the power cord and they don't seem to have a replacement one. All that were shown to me by live assistance were parts for computers. WOW DOESN'T BLACK AND DECKER MAKE ANY OF THEIR OWN PARTS. I AM DISSAPOINTED.

This is the second one I have purchased the first one is still working fine as far as quality goes but the battery was dead so the reason why I bought a second drill was because the battery cost almost as much is a new drill.

Very lousy .... Charge almost 1day... When use 3 hr the battery low power already...
