Good product

It did the job. Used it to pull 2x6 studs tightly together for screwing into place. It tightened them up nicely.

Clamp has good quality. It was relatively light-weight but sturdy. I used it for some cabinet doors and it held them together while assembling but did not leave a mark.

Strong. Easy to use. Looks like it'll last for years.

It did exactly what I purchased it for..To repair a door. Such a a good tool that I didn't even have to take the door down from the hinges,just repaired it on the spot. Thank you

The best clamps I ever got.

Quick release and slide. Good pressure and hold strength

In my opinion, this version of the Bessey clamp is one of the best clamps made! The only issue is not applying too much pressure!

This is a good clamp, but I am not in favor of the wooden handle. My arthritic hands just could not grasp it properly and use this clamp to its full potential. I returned this item to the store and bought another Bessey clamp which had a more comfortable handle but, albeit only had a 3 1/2" reach.

Did the job I need done with ease. I will not be using it that frequently in the future. If I needed to use it more frequently, I probably would have upgraded to a more expensive model.

great for what it is

My "third hand" in building a ground level deck. Low/thin profile makes tool very versatile - can get into spaces standard C-clamps can't get into.

I used these clamps to make a table and they were an invaluable aid. Highly recommend

I needed a very strong and wide clamp for cabinet doors. This product did the job very well .

Not a very good bar clamp, tends to slip to much unless you get it just right. Not worth the effort. Glad I only bought the one. Should have stuck with the brand I already had.

This is a "big" small clamp. The 4" throat depth and heavy steel tongs make this a very strong and sturdy clamp. It puts maximum pressure when and where needed. It's extremely well-made and I would expect it to last a long time. One minor warning; the red plastic "feet" on the ends of the tongs can slip off, so you have to keep an eye on them.

So far so stout. The Tradesmen series (of which HD sells in both 24" and 40" lengths) are girthy clamps with a simple locking mechanism that's been around for decades. The wooden handles are larger in diameter making that final twist much less taxing on my knuckles. IN full cinch, only slight bending is noticable in the bar. The contact pads are wide enough not to leave much of a scuff on your wood. Nothing like a German-made tool. I'll be buying a few more for sure.

I have four different brands of bar clamps and these are the best. They adjust along the bar smoothly and have rubber grips to make tightening much easier. They are also heavier and more durable than the others and come with face pads to prevent damage to the wood. Very, very good product.

This clamp certainly does what it's name states. it does clamp and hold. It is very light and easy to use and would be a great addition for only the novice woodworker, but the vet. as well!

As always Bessey makes great bar clamps. They can almost be used with one hand. Stretch the clamp out far enough to reach both sides, slip the immoveable end over what you need held while you are holding it with one hand, and slip the adjustable end up snug with the other hand and screw the clamp tight. Minor adjustments can be made with both hands after the material is in place.

I am a big fan of Bessey parallel clamps so I thought I would look into their F style bar clamps as well. I use a lot of bar clamps and am really glad I got these. They did take some getting used to at first. There is no lock on the clamp head. It slides freely when you tilt it on the bar. The first couple times I used these I didn't like it. However once I adjusted my process in how I align the clamps, I prefer this configuration. It makes things really easy to do with one hand The composite handles are the same as the k body clamps I like and the 2 1/2" throat depth is generous for clamps in this price range. The bar is fairly heavy duty. Not quite as strong as my jorgensen HD's, however will provide ample clamping pressure before deflecting. My only complaint it the face pads tend to fall off when pulling them out of my clamp rack, I put a little dab of hot glue under it so if I do need to replace them, I can get them off easily. These are great clamps and I wouldn't want to be without them.

These clamps don't bend as much as some other lesser quality ones I got from a low cost tool supplier. The paint and the plating on the parts don't leave marks on item being clamps. They have plenty of clamping force too. the jaw pads fall off a little to easily, i have be careful not to loose them.
