Does the job!

Amazing color and coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We remodeled two bathrooms in 2022 and painted the living room (including a porous red brick fireplace in Mission White in 2 coats and no primer base, just Behr paint). I was able to color match my tub cabinet front and custom cabinet to the vanity blue using the ap and even the sheen is dead on. Not an easy task.

Very durable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so impressed with how well this product protects against scuffing, and how easily it cleans up! I used it to paint the shiplap WHITE on a kitchen island where kiddos with dirty shoes sit on a daily basis. There has been only one scuff in 6 months, and it literally wiped off with a paper towel! Highly recommend for high traffic areas!

Great paint

Never looking back

Great color, Not impressed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this paint (7 gallons in total, 5 different colors) for our new house. We washed all the walls in the rooms, allowed 48 hours to dry. This has been a painful painting experience. It is our first time using Behr and I’m not very impressed at all. Some rooms have taken 3 coats and may need more. No matter how much we mixed the paint some spots were thick and applied nicely and other spots just smeared or went on extremely thin. Our walls look very spotty and the coverage was not as even as one would like. We tried different rollers and brushes but still received the same result. I can’t say whether or not we would buy the paint again.

Hi there, thank you for reviewing our paint. I'm sorry to hear about the coverage issues you experienced while trying out our Behr Ultra Paint for the first time. That is not typical, and I can understand your disappointment. Typically, our Ultra Paint will cover in two coats. However, porous surfaces may require additional coats for uniformity. I recommend allowing the paint to dry for 24 hours. Paint dries from the outer layer inward, and this may allow the color to even out so you can decide whether another coat is necessary. If that is the case, I recommend using a high-quality 3/8" nap roller cover while following the recommended spread rate and allowing the paint to dry for at least 2 hours in between coats. Love this paint!

Outstanding paint!
The contractor grade paint was terrible in out new house. Every time someone looked at the wall there was a new mark or scuff. I couldn’t take it anymore and I was not about to pay an arm and a leg to have someone else to come in and paint with cheap paint again, so I decided to paint the entire inside of my house myself. I would not be more pleased. The application was easy and covers the old paint very well. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Excellent drying time

It did take two coats because I painted over old wood paneling but I love the color. It also dried well without leaving a tacky surface within the first 24 hours. I will definitely buy this paint again.

The only paint I buy

Great for Baseboards
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced our carpet with luxury vinyl plank and decided it was a good time to touch up/repaint the baseboards before reinstalling. I always use Behr paints, but decided to go with the Behr Ultra Scuff Defense. So glad I did. The paint was so easy to work with and dried to a perfect finish. The built in twist-off cap and pour spout was an added benefit. Very happy with my choice - I will be using it on woodwork throughout the house.

What coverage!

Not what i was expecting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At $50/can i am disappointed. Our room is definitely smaller than 400 sq ft and we are needing a 3rd gallon can. You can still see the blue color through the white and the blue was not dark.

Our Ultra Scuff-Defense Paint will typically cover in 1-2 coats, while darker colors and porous surfaces may require additional coats. It isn’t typical to need a 3rd gallon on a room that is 400 sq. feet. To fix the issue I recommend applying another coat of paint and letting it dry for 4-6 hours to see if the finish evens out. Love this paint!

It’s a great product and it holds up really well to all that life with kids and pets throws at it! We painted all 4 homes we’ve lived in with this paint and we’ve never been disappointed.

Excellent Paint

Great Results and easy application

Not super happy with this paint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this in my kitchen. Sheen and coverage were great. However, I had an issue with "framing", where the edges look different than the middle. Couldn't fix it no matter what I did.Finally went back and bought the regular Behr paint in the same color. One coat, no framing.
