[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We knew we needed an exceptional product to cover this very bold yellow paint that covered the ceilings, walls, doors and trim of this home. While it made the previous owner happy for 30 years it was not he color for the new owner. plus, wee had an entire two story home to paint and wanted to have a product that would do the job and not leave us feeling exhausted because of needing three or more coats. The yellow was that bold. What an amazing transformation! We were very pleased with the quality an coverage! My friend was very happy too! Thank you!

I purchased Behr paint and primer exclusively for my new construction project. I happened to come across a gallon of Behr Scuff Defence and put that in my new laundry room and it is some of the best paint I've used and also the painter. Thanks, Behr for making a Scuff Defense.

I always buy Behr paint. When they came out with Scuff Defense I bought it right away for a kids bedroom. Behr always goes on so easy. It looks so beautiful after putting it on. It's amazing how Behr has that very rich look, it is just the best paint you can use. I have tried the really expensive brands. Behr is #1 for me. It cleans up so easy, I like rolling it on & the difference it makes you can see right away. It really is scuff proof. Love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently chose Behr Scuff Guard Eggshell finish in Cracked Pepper (the 2024 color of the year), to paint our son’s garage. The paint was the perfect choice for the garage as we have used it for other projects and it really does not scuff! It’s durable and beautiful. Easy to apply, has great coverage (even in black), very little or no spray back from our roller and super easy to clean up afterwards. This is new construction, so we did apply one coat of primer before the paint.

Yes it takes two coats but could not be happier with the way covers over a dark color. I will add a couple of pictures of some finished areas and the one I’m currently doing the one photo will be of the first coat. I just finished the rest will be after the second coat. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I chose ancient ivory to pain over our yellow kitchen, and in just one coat it almost perfectly covered it! We will do one more coat so it’s perfect but the color is gorgeous and definitely pretty true to swatch!

I use Behr paints in general but my husband decided to purchase the "SCUFF DEFENSE" and the post spatter clean up turned into a permanent issue. In past, I could easily wipe up paint spatter and any residue left behind. This particular formula doesn't allow complete removal of the white residue left behind to newly finished hardwood floors and/or the metal hardware on doors. I spent an hour on the phone with Behr and they had NO solution for total removal of Scuff Defense residue that would preserve the finish of my floors/hardware. Sherwin Williams and Home Depot also had no good solution despite my trials of products they recommended, but could not guaranteed. My solution is to spend MORE $$$ to have the wood floors restained and hardware replaced. POOR product without warning or solution for a common problem that comes from painting.

Most of my murals are exterior but I just got a project for a kitchen mural. The customer wanted me to first paint the wall and then the mural. Is my first time painting the wall before my art but I didn’t hesitate and I bought this Behr Scuff Int paint. (Eggshell) Absolutely Love it!!
