[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two gallons of Valspar paint which I thought would be compatible. It definitely wasn’t. I had to apply two to three coats to get the same coverage I did with one coat of Behr Ultra. After the second coat of valspar I went back to the store to get more paint and my grandmother insisted that I try Behr. It was a little more expensive which is why I had hesitated in the first place. I am a bit of a novice so I thought “paint is paint” I was wrong. I got more painting done in half the time and ended up spending more money on buying the cheap stuff initially because I kept having to apply additional costs. I would have saved some money if I had gone with Behr exterior in the first place, not to mention a LOT of time. My paint project was painting a carport addition I built with treated bare lumber.

Behr is the only paint I use due to its durability.

Beautiful color and terrific coverage.

It’s good paint but the color is about a shade darker than the sample you see online. It is more of bright teal, but with right trim it looks nice. I used it for my house exterior.
