Great Coverage and Durability

Good coverage

Great Covering Paint

WARNING. Do not keep for touch up. FADES FAST!
I thought buying the Behr Premium Plus paint at a higher price point would be worth it. Finding out my waste of money as this paint couldn't be touched up on a bedroom wall 2 years later. Happened with the same paint and a different color on a hallway wall. Never had this happen with Glidden after 10 years on the walls. Now I know and you do as well.

The flat paint looks great on all my wall.

People that come in home always complement the paint. I tell them to use Behr. I have even texted them the paint formula from the can. Great paint for great prices.

Great features!

Zero Coverage
For the first time in my 50 years of painting, I was extremely disappointed by a Behr product. This white was so watery that I needed 3 to 4 coats to cover a light beige. I feel the quality was so poor as to force someone to pay extra money they can’t afford on a so called “better” paint. I had to switch to Sherwin Williams.

Gorgeous flat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the premium plus paint for the first time after having only used Marquee for years. I was a little worried about a quality drop, but it’s so nice! The higher end behr products are lovely but have dropped the flat finish in favor of a flat/matte combo that isn’t flat enough for my preference. Premium plus still has great coverage but is dead flat. So glad I tried it!

Hides imperfections

Best of the Best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first time that I switched over to using Behr paint. I always purchased my paint from a local competitor. This was the best move I have ever done. Behr paint not only went on smoother than the competitors paint, but I only had to use one coat to do the job. This saved me a tremendous amount of time. Using Behr paint has made painting enjoyable again. I'm a true convert and will never use any other paint for my projects. The paint also had no odar, and clean up was a piece of cake. Thank you Behr paint for making my life easier.

Excellent quality and durability

Didn't make it to the utility room...

Worst paint/primer I’ve ever used
Needed to patch a hole and repaint it. The paint is unusually thick. Using a roller, applied half a small can of this paint in two coats to a 2’x2’ area. The paint is virtually transparent, with the color of the patch area easily visible after two coats. Almost like it wasn’t painted, except for leaving a slightly grey tint on the wall. Texture appears more eggshell than flat to me. This paint is going in the trash and I get to go back to the store now.

Hello, thank you for your review. I'm terribly sorry to hear our Premium Plus Paint did not perform the way you expected. That is not the experience we want for our customers. The paint should have an even and creamy consistency. I recommend stirring the product for around 5 minutes to get it to the correct texture. Typically, paint covers in 1-2 coats. However, porous surfaces and drastic color transitions may require additional coats for uniformity. As for the finish, I recommend allowing for additional dry time so that it can settle and cure to its true flat finish. Nonetheless, I'm concerned that you mentioned it seemed like there was no color to the paint. I've reached out to you via email to learn more about your project and assist you further. Great features
