I usually only need one coat maybe two if I really want. For a base model paint and the price this is amazing. The colors are very vibrant as well. We recently hired a painter and he always uses Sherwin Williams but we wanted and had Behr for our bathroom which was an add on to what we commissioned him for so he did it. He was so impressed with Behr paint and you could tell he really wasn’t expecting it to be good quality.

I'm using it to cover bright yellow and dark khaki this time. Behr paint and primer is awesome. This paint does on smooth and generally covers with one coat. I will definitely use Behr paint again and recommend it to my family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We painted over forest green and it was pretty much 1 coat coverage. There were only a few places that we had to paint twice, like close to the trim. Great paint! We've used behr paint in the past, like 10 years ago, and it still looks good!

The paint plus primer covered some crazy previous paint colors beautifully. The paint color is still as beautiful as the day we painted and easy to clean from daily scuffs. We always recommend Behr, and continue to use this paint brand in our rentals. Holds up fantastic!

The walls were all painted in various browns, but I wanted lighter, brighter colors so I decided to repaint with Behr because I've had excellent results in the past. Even though I went lighter, I had no trouble with coverage and used two coats over the primer. Great coverage, perfect amount of sheen when dry and the color matched the paper sample exactly (the best part, honestly!). I am very pleased with this paint line and will be purchasing more soon!

It was all done in one coat and turned out amazing! We’ve always used this Behr paint and it does a lot in one coat- less time to paint and more time to enjoy!

I highly recommend this paint since I've been painting for 40 plus years and never have I used such a good paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a flood. After immediately scrubbing basement walls, there were still water stains - but no water damage. We used this Premium Plus ULTRA with stain blocking , Paint and primer in one. That was a couple years ago. Not only did it cover all the stains with ONE coat, but the walls are still in good condition. Time for a different color. We don’t buy anything but Behr!!
