I've had various carpenters request other brands and they just don't hold up as well. We're repainting our living room in Behr Premium Interior Seni-Gloss in Simply Sage. It's the exact color from 8 yrs ago because it's so beautiful and soothing. While we originally had to use 2-3 coats of Kilz over the old cheap paneling, it only took 1 coat to cover. I expect to have to use only 1 coat over the old paint. In fact, with every Behr paint, I've only had to use 1 coat.

I bought the premium plus semi-gloss ultra white paint to use on my current trim, to give it a fresh coat, and on my newly added board and batten wainscoting in my foyer. I purchased the premium plus because I was extremely satisfied with the 5 gallon Marquee paint we'd purchased a few weeks prior. Since this product advertises its paint and primer in one, I thought the application would be a breeze, especially on already primed and painted surfaces. At first, I thought the product was applying wonderfully. It wasn't until the next day that I realized there were paint streaks and obvious areas lacking coverage throughout my entire pain project. I can't tell you what a pain it was to be on my hands and knees, 6 months pregnant, painting baseboards and floor trim, thinking "at least I'll only have to do one coat", only to realize I would. most definitely be painting a second coat. I tried it with paint brushes, rollers, and even a spray gun. NONE of different application techniques mattered when it came to coverage. Cost for one gallon for white semi-gloss paint is not cheap, and I thought that meant I was getting a better product and one similar to the Marquee, but not only did I have to buy that one gallon, I had to buy 2 to finish the job for matching purposes! I've attached a photo of a piece of a scrap piece of wood that was used in my foyer. I primed this wood and gave it two coats of this premium plus paint. Streaks and poor coverage galore! Other materials this product was used on include previously painted white baseboards, window trim, and staircase moulding, primed wood 3/4 round trim, and previously painted walls. I don't think I have anything good to say about this product other than it produces a nice bright white finish once you've layered it all on.

Of course we went to home depot and headed straight to the Behr samples. Simply the best paint. The pictures speak for themselves! Thanks Behr.

The coverage wasn’t any better than the cheaper paints but after buying 10 gallons of it was stuck with purchasing more even though according to the bucket it should have been more than enough for coverage. Save yourself the money and buy a different brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WE ARE PAINTING THE WHOLE INTERIOR IN SEMI-GLOSS. LOTS OF COLRS AND STYLES OF PAINT TO PICK FROM. SINCE THE PRIMER IS IN THE PAINT IT CUTS THE WORK IN HALF. THE LID IS EASY TO GET OFF AND ON. HAVE NOT TRIED THE SPOUT FEATURE

This is the paint I’ve been searching for my entire life. It goes on smooth, excellent coverage, the white color is brilliant and gorgeous. It is also well priced.

I had a disaster and used 1 whole gallon and multiple coats for the smallest of small bathrooms. I still have 1 unopened gallon that I was afraid to use. I had to purchase another product to complete the job. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Caveat emoptor. I have receipts from Home Depot to prove this!
