after reading up on outside exterior paint ,, i got a primer - sealer acrylic ppg and the behr glossy acrylic ... and finally after 30 years did some repairs and repaint on south facing door wood trim .. i wire brushed the old wood trim to remove all loose ,, and of course did not care how the existing wood looked ,, but it was still good wood .. so i just primed and painted to seal it ,,, as you see in my pictures ,, and as long as there is no water weather intrusion and last another 30 years ,,, it works for me .. both the primer and paint itself was thick pure white color when brushed on ,,, that i only did one coat of each and it was a solid paint that stuck to the wood and vinyl siding trim real good and even after a week was a nice tough coat ... so i am giving it my seal of approval .. also read that glossy will last longer with sun hitting it ,,, and i prefer the acrylic as a better choice than latex for a south face exterior to last longer .. brush clean up with water was good too ..

Thought I’d give Behr paints a go as I purchase most of my home improvement supplies from Home Depot, and I’m planning on painting the whole house. I’m so glad I started out with just a quart of the high gloss for my front door. What a mistake! After hours of prep and priming with Kilz Adhesion I began painting my door. By the time I completed one section the paint was already drying and catching my brush as i started the next section, the paint did not lay down and showed every brush stroke. After completing the door, there were runs everywhere. I’ve been painting for over 50yrs and this is without a doubt the worst paint I have ever used. Now I have to sand the whole door again and start over.

My front door was dull, dark beige and sad. I am a fan of BEHR paint and when I found this color, I knew it was the pop I was looking for. Used a primer first, then two coats for more color intensity. Even when using high gloss enamel, the paint was easy to apply and did not disappoint at all. After several months, the door still looks as if it had just been painted. Any dirt or marks clean up very easily.

The Hi Gloss makes the house exterior really look good. I always use the Hi Gloss paint on the exterior. No more flat or eggshell paint. Charismatic Sky M520-3 for the siding and Antique White 23 for the trim. I usually use Antique White for the whole exterior but this subdivision has multi-colored houses.

I am very happy with the quality and performance of the Behr paints. I had been using a BM stain and lately the oil based is of poor quality and what used to last 10 years only lasts 4. I am switching my entire home paint over to the Behr paints. I am looking forward to the May $10 off coupons where I will buy more. i typically use the Hi-Gloss which has more plastics in it and is more durable. Living near the ocean weather beats up the finish. This one last longer.

We use this paint for our old cabinets. They were either dark green or dark unpainted wood. We did used 2 Coats. We haven't finished the job completely. But will we have done we are completely satisfied.

We use this paint all the time, it's our general purpose, "go to" interior paint. It is durable, easy to use, easy to clean, and really brightens a room. I just told my wife last night that I need to start buying it by the case, as we use it for trim, walls and ceilings. We have a rental house and we recently repainted the bathroom, laundry room, and kitchen with this paint and the rooms look amazing and are so much brighter.

Have Have painted our whole house with BEHR paint! The coverage is great and the high gloss finish is easy to clean.

I repainted kitchen cabinets, I did need 3 coats, but it came out just the way I hoped it would.

This is an excellent black paint a little on the high side price wize but none the less the best black paint on tne market

The paint is easy to manage and easy cleanup. Flows beautifully over wood. I also love the shine not too glossy.

Used it to repaint a door. Although is says "glass like finish", it doesn't appear to be as glossy as oil based. Maybe it would be more glossy on a new surface? I don't think you can beat oil based for high gloss; but the water cleanup is a plus.

I’d recommend using an oil based prior first and then apply this paint (one coat of paint should suffice). Makes all the difference and shines nicely.

I used this to refresh my laundry room before my new washer and dryer were delivered. It went on easily, brightened up the room and made a difference in the overall appearance of the room. This product line is my go-to for all of my interior and exterior needs.
