While I know painting a deck is never the best option, it was the only option we had. I thoroughly sanded the decks and filled the larger cracks of the old wood. I had the behr multipurpose primer tinted with the deep galaxy to make the paint stick/cover better. This paint went on smoothly and covered well. Had I used a 1/2" nap roller instead of 3/8", I think I may have even gotten away with just one paint coat. The color turned out more of of a "tardis" blue than the deep navy we were looking for. That is the only reason so far I gave it 4 stars. Time will tell how this holds up. I will be happy to get 2 winters out of this as it is not terribly expensive paint.

Heavy thick consistency which covers well after 2 coats. Heavy anti slip grit that should work very well.

Easier on bare feet, vibrant color, good coverage. Had to go back and fill concrete pores.

The posts and joists supporting my porch needed to be repainted and I chose this paint. We scraped off the old flaking paint and sanded, then a coat of primer (Behr also) and two coats of this paint. It has made a world of difference. I've used Behr interior and exterior primers and paints, and have always been pleased!
