Paver issue
I am giving my opinion to mvail in reference to the stain pealing off the pavers.
Some pavers are sealed from the manufacturer.
If that was the case they most likely used a zylene based sealer. Behr concrete stain is water-based. Water does not adhere to petroleum based products.

Durability
After acid etching, applying Behr Concrete Primer, and three coats of Behr Concrete Stain, The hot tires on my parked car lifted the stain completely off my driveway. Don't know the remedy for this.

Hi John, thank you for the review. I’m sorry to hear that our Solid-Color Concrete Stain is peeling from the hot tires. To fix the issue, I’d recommend removing the loose coating by either power washing or sanding, then etching the bare concrete. After the floor is etched and cleaned, apply our Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer and then re-applying the Solid-Color Stain. Excellent product. I have used it on many occasions at different houses over 15-20 years and always pleased with the look and durability. Living in the desert southwest US I find many products just do not hold up in the extreme heat and sun but this one does a very good job.

waste of time and money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on concrete pavers as we added on to our patio and couldn't get pavers to match. Home Depot employee recommended this product as a solution. I bought the first color and it looked much different than in the pamphlet. So, I bought another gallon of this junk. Painted the pavers... and then this spring much of the concrete stain has flaked off. Now, I get to remove the product.

I can assure you that is not the experience we want for our customers. To fix the issue, you will not need to remove the stain. Instead, I recommend removing just the loose coating before etching the bare areas to ensure adhesion. Once clean and dry, prime the surface with our Behr Concrete & Masonry Bonding primer to enhance the adhesion and ensure the best results. Then, touch up the stain and apply a thin coat for uniformity. I've also reached out to you directly via email to learn more about your project and assist you further. Amazing Result

Best Concrete stain I've ever used.

Great solution for my basement floor!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My basement has a moisture problem. After spending thousands on flooring just to have it be ruined with water we decided to stain the concrete floor. It worked and the results are absolutely amazing! We prepped the floor, used both a can of solid color stain and semi translucent to make a pattern And a wedlock sealer to finish it off. My basement floor now looks like a museum and no more ruined flooring! If the basement does get wet it can just be dried up and doesn't mess up the stain! It looks amazing. Highly recommend!!!

Easy to use and great coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just applied today and was concerned about old concrete and new concrete not matching but choosing a darker stain than both they match up pretty well even with a 20 year difference on pours. I'm curious to see how well it holds up but initial application was a success and made for a beautiful pool deck.
