Paver issue
I am giving my opinion to mvail in reference to the stain pealing off the pavers.
Some pavers are sealed from the manufacturer.
If that was the case they most likely used a zylene based sealer. Behr concrete stain is water-based. Water does not adhere to petroleum based products.

Durability
After acid etching, applying Behr Concrete Primer, and three coats of Behr Concrete Stain, The hot tires on my parked car lifted the stain completely off my driveway. Don't know the remedy for this.

Hi John, thank you for the review. I’m sorry to hear that our Solid-Color Concrete Stain is peeling from the hot tires. To fix the issue, I’d recommend removing the loose coating by either power washing or sanding, then etching the bare concrete. After the floor is etched and cleaned, apply our Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer and then re-applying the Solid-Color Stain. Excellent product. I have used it on many occasions at different houses over 15-20 years and always pleased with the look and durability. Living in the desert southwest US I find many products just do not hold up in the extreme heat and sun but this one does a very good job.

waste of time and money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on concrete pavers as we added on to our patio and couldn't get pavers to match. Home Depot employee recommended this product as a solution. I bought the first color and it looked much different than in the pamphlet. So, I bought another gallon of this junk. Painted the pavers... and then this spring much of the concrete stain has flaked off. Now, I get to remove the product.

I can assure you that is not the experience we want for our customers. To fix the issue, you will not need to remove the stain. Instead, I recommend removing just the loose coating before etching the bare areas to ensure adhesion. Once clean and dry, prime the surface with our Behr Concrete & Masonry Bonding primer to enhance the adhesion and ensure the best results. Amazing Result

Great solution for my basement floor!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My basement has a moisture problem. After spending thousands on flooring just to have it be ruined with water we decided to stain the concrete floor. It worked and the results are absolutely amazing! We prepped the floor, used both a can of solid color stain and semi translucent to make a pattern And a wedlock sealer to finish it off. My basement floor now looks like a museum and no more ruined flooring! If the basement does get wet it can just be dried up and doesn't mess up the stain! It looks amazing. Highly recommend!!!

Easy to use and great coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just applied today and was concerned about old concrete and new concrete not matching but choosing a darker stain than both they match up pretty well even with a 20 year difference on pours. I'm curious to see how well it holds up but initial application was a success and made for a beautiful pool deck.

Great product. Better than expected.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I through some Behr gray paint samples on the wall. Not an artist, but loved a wall paper I saw on facebook and decided to try it in the garage. Turned out nice, so decided to hide my ugly, cracked , yellowed sealer, epoxy fillers. This hid everything. Depending on which crappy floor I was covering, gave it a different shade of white. Like marble. We'll see how it looks after a winter in MN. But dirty white is better than the ugly greasy looking color before.

This 5 gallon container of custom mixed concrete stain arrived much faster than expected and in very good shape. It was exactly the color expected. It applied easily to the previously sealed concrete and dried quickly. It spread evenly and looks great. I have applied it with a thick nap roller, and with a spray painter. Both apply the stain nicely. The spray is a little harder to keep off of nearby objects, and I think the time to apply with roller or sprayer is pretty equal. I will be using more of this, and also another color, to finish the concrete around our home, prior to sale.

Second time using this product.
His second time I use this product coated over existing application that was 5 years old on my pool Lanai pressure wash allowed to dry for 24 hours. My only complaint is that it stains easily does not have a hard shell to protect itself from discoloration and dirt staining.

Perfect for recoloring brick

Has held up great over almost 3 years! Lots of compliments including from those who discouraged changing the brick color.

This worked great for my project. I applied this to an outside brick wall, and I found that using a sprayer worked better than a roller. Due to the porousness of the concrete blocks, I had to do two coats. It's a pretty bold color, but I like it - especially with the green plants in front of it.

Behr Garage Stain
I'm a bit disappointed by the results I got. I followed the instructions to the letter. I etched the floor twice to ensure a rough surface. I cleaned the floor till no dust residue was present. I applied the Behr primer as the instructions state. I then applied 2 coats of the stain. It looks great. I didn't drive on the floor for 17 days. When I did then drive I put down two layers of corrugated cardboard. Even Home Depot moving boxes....LOL. The other day, after over 21 days, I drove over a piece of the cardboard onto the stained floor. Of course, the stain lifted a little.

Hi there, thank you for the review. Sorry to hear that some of the stain peeled after you drove on it. This isn't typical. To fix the issue I'd recommend removing any loose stain by scraping or sanding. Spot etch the area if needed. It should have a profile of 150 grit sandpaper.
