Grabbed my Purdy brush to test the Jet White Satin Paint on a DIY Children's Alpine Playhouse. It's over ten years old. Tearing it down is on a list of my to-do's. If a fresh coat of paint can extend the life of our playhouse, I can cross that off this year's list. The house front was washed. It only took a few minutes to paint the house and door centers with this thick Jet White paint. The door and window trim was painted with Jet White Semi Gloss. The Floral wood panel on the door is from an architecture graveyard. It was cracked. The Satin covered the cracks in one coat, although it was already white. Having only viewed the paint color chip, I thought it would be less white. It matched the trim color on our house, that's vanilla white. Coverage was sufficient to cover cracks in aged wood. It was searing, I was dehydrated, got lightheaded amd dropped some paint on the walkway. It dries very fast. I don't consider it an easy clean up paint because of that. I won't paint our house this time of the year because of daily afternoon rains. This dries fast enough for short projects like the playhouse. It will take a year for me to see if this lives up to the advanced fade performance claim. I'm looking forward to using it on the house when daily rains let up!

Marquee is good, but, It is on the runny side and is priced a little to high.

It brushes out really smooth and dries very hard. I dont have a job where I have used it 7 to 10 years ago. So I will have to review it later on that.

Yes it's expensive, but very durable paint. I haven't tried thinning and spraying it yet, but I expect no problem doing that. It is very thick paint and the dark brown completely covers the light brown primer on my smart facia trim in two coats. Make sure to snap a pic of the label the paint department puts on the lid before it gets paint on it, so you get an exact match next time.

So far I've painted 2 sides of my house with a 3 inch brush. It has nice durability , looks good and covers well. Its also holding up well to the hot sun.

It takes two coats. That is just to cover white over white.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So a few years ago we bought Cracked Pepper interior paint for an accent wall after a full interior remodel. Fast forward to 2024 when we were ready to paint the whole exterior of our house we again chose Behr Marquee satin exterior paint in Cracked Pepper. To our surprise Cracked Pepper is Behr's 2024 color of the year as well!!!! We have had nothing but complements on the house since starting the paint job. The paint covered up a not so pleasant tan color in just one coat. I would absolutely not hesitate to use more Behr products on my house.

The paint was a perfect match. One coat as stated and cleanup was easy. The employee was very helpful, knowledgeable, and nice. Home Depot will be my go to Paint Store.

Great coverage, worked well through the paint sprayer.

We live in the Midwest, so we get hot and cold, and so far, no peeling or cracking. We went from a light to dark color and it covered in one coat which was amazing. Highly recommend! Also painted our garage doors and shutters with Behr.

They turned out beautifully. I’m so pleased with them. I have more to finish which I’ll do as the weather warms. I love BEHR products.

Then I wanted something for my front door that wasn't bland, and wasn't the black that was already there. After looking at the colors at Home Depot I stopped on Kalahari Sunset and fell in love! I didn't even do a sample first, I just bought a quart and off I went. It was streak free, took 2 coats because I was covering black, and everyone that comes up to the door says how they love it! Several even asked the brand/color :D It goes great against the beige brick of my 60s ranch. Highly recommend!
