Excellent stain!! Use to coat my wooden fence, and it lasts years! Also you can coat metal with this--I coated my outside natural gas piping and meter-- went from the ugly gray to this nice wood chip color and piping next to house looks nice now. I even coated the 4" PVC drain pipe from the downspout of my gutters. This solid stain is wonderful, and you don't even need to prime the wood or metal before using!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After proper prep, we used this on previously stained cedar siding. It’s lasted well. The side of the house that gets the most sunlight is beginning to fade but no flaking or peeling. Recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used this product for several different projects and have never been disappointed. We live near water and the stain hasn't faded. We painted two decks at my parents. One deck gets full on sun all day and the other is in shade under trees with gypsy moths. Both decks are doing well even though we have to wash the one deck daily. We have been super impressed with the quality and way the stain has held up.

There were also tall pillars installed with this but they were the natural wood. Wanting to match the pillars with the colored decking I sought out Behr products because they are so dependable to work with. The salesperson matched the color perfectly with this product. It went on smoothly and covered very well. This has been several years now and it stilli looks like I just applied it. I love this stain and also any other product that Behr makes. They are quality products that I can always depend upon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used Behr for the last 20 years on our Log house with cedar trim. The House and fence Stain last from 7-8 years in the Texas broling sun. We originally use Silkens per the log home manufacture but their stain could not hold up to the sun. .It would actually turn burnt looking so we have to go with a solid stain.

Covered old PAINT amazingly well. People thought we had replaced 25 year old boards instead of spraying it!

Behr home and fence wood stain had good coverage. We got redwood color. Our fence looks great.

hoping to save money I bought this cheaper stain. it turned out to be white paint. there's nothing on the can that indicates it's white
