Customer Reviews for BEHR 1 gal. #SC-103 Coffee Solid Color House and Fence Exterior Wood Stain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own two homes, three sheds, and an arbor. Being a frugal Scot, my wife and I have painted all five of these structures dating back more than 10 years. The stain goes on extremely well although it is sucked up nicely by the dry cedar siding. I found it necessary to simply touch up a few worn spots every 3 to 4 years but basically none of these structures have needed a thorough repainting at this time. Again the oldest complete job is more than 10 years old. This one house is over 100 years old and is on the waterfront so it takes a beating. The old paints I used to use never would've held up like this. We wouldn't consider using anything else.

Love the color. Paint quality is surprisingly very good.

It is the only wood stain product that will actually hold up against the Texas 115 degrees days and the bad winters and year around winds. It's easy to spray (even with an inexpensive sprayer) Clean up is easy. A great product to use.

I have used other brands that fade in 2-3 years. Two coats of Behr blue house and fence stain still look great after 7 years. This product also received great reviews from a major consumer magazine.

From picnic tables to informational kiosks, we have used hundreds (and hundreds) of gallons. Why………it’s tough and it lasts!

The stain was exactly what I needed to restore our fence after a previous hail storm. Looks just like new.

Excellent coverage with one coat. This gray solid wood stain was applied over yellow required only one coat of paint. The project is finished and looks amazing.

This product works great on fence. My husband and I find that it lasts longer than many of the other products we have used, 5-6 years. Even then you do not have to paint it. We just like it to look clean and fresh. By the way, we have 4000 ft. of fence and polesto paint.
