Purchased Dec 2020. Your finished opening needs to be plumb and square, with a finished width (distance between tiles) of 35” plus or minus 1/4”. Sizing: the 35” x 72” door has a glass pane of 34-1/8” and with hinges installed is 34-1/2”. An additional L-shapped strip, adheres to the wall and sticks out to prevent the door from swinging into the shower bay (it also prevents water from accidentally splashing through the gapx The edge strip sticks out 3/4” from the wall and is what gives you some forgiveness for doorway width. If your doorway is less than 34-3/4” wide, this door is too big. If your opening is square and plumb, then 35” wide is ideal, and you could go up to 35-1/4” easily, but anything beyond 35-1/2” is going to be problematic. It’s worth fixing your door jamb so its straight up and down. As others have stated, its heavy. I unloaded it by myself, but I’m going to need extra (strong) hands to install it. I transported it in a Toyota Sienna, but had to lay down the back seats, and remove the first row seats. So, leave the kids at home. The box was about 42” x 84” which is dangerously close to the width of the rails on top of the van. Also, unloading it from the top is a lot more likely to break the glass than if using the interior compartment. Tips: hinge screws go on the inside of the door, and you should push the hinges toward the top when tightening so you don’t have to worry about it settling. Thin (3/8”) glass doors use the thick plastic hinge shims, and the thick (1/2”) glass uses the thin shims.

Beautiful door! Highly recommend. Contractor quoted $1,500 - $2,000 for a shower door so we were so excited to find this one for such a great price and quality.

This is a fantastic door. Added so much class to my bathroom and one of my best purchase ever. Looked at many websites that "specialized" in frameless doors and they were 2x - 3x the price....It's crazy that frameless doors are much more expensive than framed doors even though they have much less hardware. Installed it on a 36" Delta shower stall with mounting surfaces out about 1/4" (middle was 31", top+bottom was 31-1/4") but no issue. The door is very heavy as they say, but I managed to install it myself by using a temporary 1/2" wood spacer in the bottom of the stall and carefully balancing the door while drilling and screwing it in. Not recommending anyone else do this, but this is how I did it. The only thing I didn't like was the door opening used an angle seal that was glued to the side of the shower wall and acted as a stop for the door and I didn't want anything on the shower wall since it was already a narrow opening and I didn't want to bump into the seal when I walked in the shower. I wound up using the "other" type seal used on the hinge side which mounter on the glass itself and was a wiper type that stayed with the door when it was opened. Much cleaner looking IMO, but I need to buy another wiper type seal for the hinge side because water does leak through the open gap.

I used it in a bath, shower remodel, bought the door, and built the frame to fit it. Seem to be good quality, to bad it's from China, but it was half the cost of the local dealers.

Very good quality for a DIY project. Very well packaged for transporting of heavy safety glass. Very important to read the instruction booklet before starting.

The door is ok ,I purchased a dreamline at the same time from home Depot the doors are equal except for the hinges the dreamline hinges are lighter but better to work with the have a center adjustable setting and easer to put the screws in the wall with the door attached, the Aston has to have the glass off it seems to get a straight shot so I recommend the dreamline over the Aston

I wanted a stand up shower, being that I've grown tired of the bathtub that we had in our bathroom. The doors are easy to clean and are made of a high grade glass; giving me the most amazing shower time minus the cleaning time struggles. It is a Blessing to have an amazing renovation such as ours!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my door and was a little scared that I wouldn’t be able to install the door on our own. Good news is that the installation instructions were easy. The glass is very heavy and it’s a 2 person job. The door modernizes the shower nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed some help with this! Beautiful shower door. We have this shower in the second bathroom that my dad built for us, well the shower he built so I needed his help installing this because we didnt know how. He ended up needing to add an extra stud. Just to keep it sturdy but it looks amazing. I hated having the shower curtain because it made it darker in the shower, we dont have lights above/near the shower but now the light filters in through the door much better. Love this door. It looks amazing in here. It took my dad and husband about 3 and half hours to install but I think that was due to adding the extra stud and removing some tile to get it to fit right. And now they just have to finish it with the tile and baseboards and things. It took both of them to lift the glass up and install that. Not too heavy just to make sure it was all even. I think we will have to replace some fixtures to match now. I do suggest finding someone who knows how to do this so it fits well and at least two people to install just to keep it level and even.

Great door for the price!

We were able to put this together in a few hours with the only problem being difficulty drilling the holes into the tile as it was quite thick. Overall extremely happy with this purchase.

We remolded our bathroom and purchased the Cascadia frameless glass shower door. We love it. It installed really easily, and the measurements fit perfectly. The door is solid and there is no messy track to clean. We have had the product for a couple of weeks and are VERY satisfied with our purchase. I would recommend this door to anyone.

Window clouds up easily, and water stains are difficult to remove.

Nice sturdy door. This is heavy glass with only two hinges so you need to make sure you are attaching to a sturdy wall. The only problem I have had is the adhesive on the door stop is not sticking well to the ceramic tile. I will probably have to attach with silicon or some other adhesive. I hope this does not create an area for mold build up.

The door after being hung is very beautiful. The silicon strip that is suppose to attach to the wall for door closure seal will not stay on. An alternative will have to be found. The assembly was interesting the inside hinge is in the way to install inside screws without removing the hinge from the glass one at a time. Poor design that is why I gave it a 4 star. completed it is very nice.
