Rug pad perfect for use over hardwood floor and will extend life of area rug

This rug pad is just what I was looking for. It is thick enough to provide good cushioning under my new carpet without being too thick. It went down easily, and I really like that it is just a bit smaller than my 8 x 10 rug, so it fits great and doesn’t stickk out anywhere. I have bought other rug pads from this company, and I have been very pleased with all of them.jang

The quality of the rug pad is excellent. After seeing the pad and using it for a short time, I have ordered a second pad for another rug.

This simple, yet high quality materials rug pad was easy to install. Although it comes rolled up, it was easy to unroll (and it stays down without trying to roll back) and put into place. Furthermore, it is cut 1" shorter on each side from the actual 5 x 7 as advertised, making it easier to fit perfectly under your throw rug (without sticking out on the ends as some rug pads do). Yes, we are absolutely delighted with this and will be ordering other sizes in the near future. High recommended.

A nice thick pad, thicker than the Decorator's series. Be ready to use a little elbow grease to trim the pad to desired size: I needed both a razor blade and scissors. One side of the pad is rubberized to keep the pad from moving on smooth floors.

These pads are thicker than the Decorator's series and also comes in full sizes: meaning if you have a 9X12 rug, you receive a 9X12 pad, unlike the Decorator's series. I would recommend this series versus the Decorator's series, if you are looking for something thicker. I do happen to like the unpaid margin of the rug in the Decorator's series, but you can trim these pads to the exact size you desire. I needed to trim a couple of these pads to fit under some smaller rugs. The pads were so thick that I had to use a combination of a razor blade and good scissors to get them to the sizes I needed. So be ready to use elbow grease. An excellent product.

I needed something for under a kilim rug that I have, to keep it from sliding in spite of having furniture anchoring it down. This product not only solved that problem but gave it a soft cushion effect underfoot. I am very pleased with this an would recommend it to anyone who needs stability for a carpet over hardwood.

I now have two of this Artistic Weavers John in Gold rugs. I have an 8 'X 8' round and the 2 1/2' X 12' runner. We really love them both and can't say enough good things about the quality. I plan to get at least 1 more runner and perhaps the half round for in front of the stairs going up to my loft. Highly recommend it AND Home Depot's service cannot be beat! r

The pad was good. Gave my inexpensive rug the fluff it needed

Had to be cut down to correct size, which wasn't difficult but definitely dulled my scissors! It keeps my rug from shifting and is just the right height(not too tall so that it would be noticeable. I'm very pleased.

This rug pad was exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to unroll and position on the floor. It is nice and thick and soft.

The rug actually came two days earlier and felt great, but adding the pad was amazing!

This pad was just thick enough to give some protection to rug and floor. I didn't want a thick pad because rug was already thick. The rubber backing keeps the rug from slipping.

This is a very nice quality pad and it holds my rug in place very well. Very pleased with my purchase.

These are a little hard to cut. They seem to work much better than the ones I bought before that are felt on both sides. The rugs are always sliding off the pads and need constant readjustment. I think these will work better but only time will tell. If they pass the "time test" I will consider replacing the older ones with these.

These pads are a little hard to cut but otherwise seem to work great. They are much better than the ones I ordered a couple of years ago that were felt on both sides. Smaller rugs just slide off of them constantly. Will consider replacing the older ones with these after they have passed the "over time" test.

The rug pad was everything I expected. It came out of the package and conformed to the hard wood floor right away. This is a GREAT product.

Although a bit expensive, the pad is very comfortable to walk on. The size was perfect for my 2.3' X 8' runners. Did not have to trim at all. The carpet does seem to slide a bit on the pad.

This rug pad was of good quality, however it was not the 6' round diameter that was advertised. It measured a few inches short of that and left too much of a gap between it and the edge of the rug. I returned it to the store with no problems.
