Hello AIM,
It is important for us to hear feedback from our customers, and we thank you for taking the time to write us. I apologize for the inconvenience; however, when installing VCT it is extremely important to make sure that the dye lot of the tiles is the same. Each time a new batch of VCT is mixed it is possible and likely that the shading of the tile can be different. The only way we can guarantee a shade match with VCT is to order all cartons from the same dye lot. The only recommendation we can make if you have two groups of tile and the colors aren't a perfect match is, you need to make sure everything is nice and clean after the job is installed and maybe give the tile a light scrub with a neutral detergent and a blue/green 3m scrubbing pad or equal (nothing coarser than that). Make sure you don't flood the floor with water. Rinse it carefully, let it dry thoroughly, Put on about 4-5 coats of commercial polish and possibly some high speed burnishing and everything should blend together much better. We are not saying you are going to have a perfect color match but it should improve things substantially. Again, I do apologize for the inconvenience and I hope this information is helpful. Have a great day.
