It was exactly what I needed. The weight was not a factor as I do not carry it anywhere and have yet to have it kink.

Tough material and it doesn't leak.

Unfortunately, I had the same experience described by several other users. The hose started leaking from a split in the rubber within two weeks. I purchased this “industrial duty” hose to use with a sprayer and brass on/off valve to avoid having to go to the spigot every time I wanted to fill birdbaths or water plants on the deck. I guess it wasn’t strong enough to handle the water pressure from a home. Hate to think what it would do in an “industrial” setting. You might be okay if you just use it from the spigot and don’t keep the hose under pressure. Have not had this issue with other hoses. Would not recommend or purchase again. Did not attempt to return it.

I am vision impaired. The red color is perfect. Sturdy! Two thumbs way up!

One of the best hoses I’ve ever owned. Easy to manage, flexible an a pleasure to use.

I bought this hose because of the listed degrees it could handle for hot water. The water going through the hose is 190 degrees and yes the hose can handle it. The problem is that the hose is obviously not well insulated and becomes hot enough that you don’t want to hold it. If it wasn’t for that the hose would be great. This was a suggested replacement for one I had similar that is discontinued, but does not match up to the previous one
