Diverts water from downspout away from the house during rainy sesons. I had flooded basement one year when rain was very heavy. No flooded basement so far.

Worked as needed. Very similar to another store, but Home Depot has several colors to choose from which made it blend in to my job.

With Hurricane Dorian coming, we needed to do something with our 1 downspout. We bought 3 & connected them end to end and held them on, for then, with an old belt. They extended a good distance. They don't look bad and can be painted with spray paint for plastic to match, or not, your choice :)

I purchased this to replace an existing extension which had lasted a little over 5 years. It attaches to the gutter and/or down spout. Comes in various colors (brown,black,green and white). Can be opened, shortened or bent at an angle depending on your preference. In all honesty it does it's job or at least does what I want it to do.

Very good quality, color was a good match. Two options for size was perfect, hardware was good quality.

It's exactly what I needed from the roof of my house into my rain barrel. The true test will be how long it lasts in the Florida Sun.

Just what I need

My downspouts emptied onto my sidewalk. I wanted to route it into a perforated pipe, under the sidewalk, and into the yard. The extension worked great and the color was a very good match.

Cut off the end you don't need to attach you drain line and flex where you need to go!

The downspouts are great! The plastic material is strong, good-looking, and flexible, but it holds its shape. There is a different size opening on either end, so it fits the two common sized metal spouts it connects to. It stretches out, and can be shortened or lengthened as needed. The water flows very well from above, and out into your yard, to avoid washing dirt/mulch away when it rains. Very good product!

East to fit an use

I'm a few months from 70.. female and I found working with these drain extensions very easy to work with. I had a BAD problem of gutter clutter clogging up my gutters and long underground drain fields. Yes, this is a cheap item, but I needed a quick fix and something I could do. The gutter men I hired never told me the lower drains could get clogged and I had horrible smells for years and in house water damage. NOW my drains are all flowing. I can quickly see if I need to do more to a drain to keep it cleared. I found I needed a Sawzall that cuts aluminum like butter and with a bit of effort the heavy duty underground black rubber piping. Once I cut the aluminum gutter and at times cut the screw heads holding the drain to the house off too that all I needed was to cut the piping away. I then pulled the new downspout out and just slipped it over the end of the aluminum I had just cut. Depending on where the drain was I bent the piping to flow away from the house. I did not screw the drain and extension together so I have easy access to look if clutter has clogged this pipe which I found two pipes had clogged, but I quickly pulled apart and shook out the clutter. I believe most all of the smells and water damages will now not happening. I just installed my last three today in less than one hour! Not bad for an old lady! On the downside, I will be watching to see how long this plastic holds up with out cracking at it's many seams, and I actually will expect it to happen. When cracking happens I think I will first try spray Flex It type material or even the Flex type tape. I do not expect this to happen for years and my guards are not in the sun which I would think might brake down the plastic, but if the extensions brake down and I can't fix... I will just buy new cheap extensions! For the price, and single extension use and ease to use Flex-A-Spout is worth a try!

DOES THE JOB I GOT IT FOR JUST FINE

I needed a flexible downspout extension since we have a shrub in less than a few feet away from the end of a downspout. By two persons holding the both ends and pulling hard to opposit directions, we could strech it out to about 56 - 58 inch length and successfuly redirect rainwater from a downspout, avoiding the shrub trunk. I used to have a white one of the same product which was very obvious and unsightly. I painted it in brown color, but, it didn't blend into the surrounding area as I wished and the paint came off over the years. This dark green color is the least obvious option for the area. As a side note, I could repurpose the old white one for a different location. That being said, this product is very durable and lasts for many years. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I used it as an extension to divert water to my rain barrel. Already had a large storm and it worked great!

Each time it rains a large pool of water would settle at the base of the downspout in the back garden. I purchased this product as I needed something that would redirect the water into the garden and this worked perfectly. The Flex-A-Spout is expandable and flexible as you can use it the size it is or expand it to its full length and it connects easily to your existing downspout. I purchased this item previously in White to use in the front garden and it worked a treat so that is why I purchased it again to use in the back. It comes in black and white and I would definitely recommend this item to anyone needing to deal with the problem of water settling in a pool at the base of a downspout or for relocating water to another location.

I like this product since it is a flexible plastic piece that conforms to any terrain. Works perfect in tight locations. Reasonable price and fits the need. I wanted it to straddle a sidewalk and when I want to move it out I just bend it. Works perfect versus taking the old downspout off when I wanted to get by with a lawnmower or other items.

This product was both quick and easy to install. It looks great and has been working out beautifully. This is a recently purchased item and since that time have had two major rain falls with no issues. Iwould definitely buy again!!!

Works as advertised.

Flex-A-Spout worked perfectly for my makeshift rain barrel. it looks hideous right now but in the spring I will be giving it a wooden barrel look using pallet wood and moving it from current location to around the corner.

We used Flex-A-Spout extensions to hide within our new garden landscaping. Sure, it will take time until our perennials mature, but this product is the best option we had. Even now they are less obtrusive and arrangeable than white aluminum extensions.

It's a very handy product. I like that it is so flexible. But the ends are kind of weak. You can not pop the end off like my old one.
