The unit was easy to install and works properly. Follow the instruction carefully, providing Silicone for a proper sealing to the tank. Also, be sure to allow adequate slack in the flush chain when flapper is in the closed position and the chain is attacked to the flush arm to insure that there is no leakage. Two weeks,and no leaks! Wonderful!!

Wrong size does not fit. Need to return but can't find record of purchase on the Home Depot website under my account. Can you help?

It fit right into my American Standard Toilet. I have an American Standard Model # 4021. I also had to get an American Standard 7301021-0070A Tank to Bowl Coupling Kit. Changing all of these parts made my phantom leaking stop. My toilet would just refill every hour because it was leaking into the bowl.

You should not sell them with or without their guarantee or your money back. I had to order the American Standard product and it worked. The other product I ended up throwing away because it did not work.. it leaked..

The American Standard Cadet 3 toilet requires a 3" flush valve. This assembly is made for the Cadet 3 toilet and fits perfectly. I installed it in minutes and all is well. If you don't have a spanner wrench or adjustable pliers that open wide enough for the oversized locknut, there are pockets on the underside of the locknut in which you can insert a screwdriver to help tighten the nut. I used 2 screwdrivers; one at the 3 o'clock and one at the 9 o'clock positions and was able to snug the locknut tight enough to prevent a water leak.
