Very easy to install!!

Toilet would be great except for the fact that it keeps refilling 7-8 times per hour. It kind of negates the whole "water saving" feature. I am dreading the next water bill

Works good, easy install and less noisy valve than previous one I had. Good value.

Perfect in every way

The toilet appears to work fine. As others have notes parts were missing from the package. American Standard was able to replace the parts after about 2 weeks. There could be better instructions on how to adjust the flush valve.

When installed the bowl water level seems to be low. May be the installer who doesn’t know how to install. Flush buttons on tank it would be nice if they were brushed aluminum instead of chrome so they didn’t show finger smudges.

Overall quite pleased with it. The button for #1/#2 is super finicky, I wish it were just “push”, but it’s more of a “push until it starts to flush, wait a little bit longer, then let go”

The toilet was broken/cracked in various places on arrival. When I ordered a replacement, the toilet again came broken. Both packages had virtually no padding. I would not buy any porcelain product from American Standard where shipping is involved.

Remote work has many positives but the negatives need to be considered such as increased water usage and heating and cooling costs. We pay for our water so we decided to replace our existing toilet with this dual function Edgemere toilet. It was easy to install the toilet itself but the dual flushing system was new to us so there was a learning curve involved. This toilet was a great decision and we are happy to be conserving water.

Have to keep replacing flush valve gaskets each year, scam. Toilet flushes slow, no suction I rarely have to use a plunger though

The flush valve with the toilet was defective, but after a phone call with the American standard, they sent a new flush valve and it now works fine. dual flush system is really ideal for saving water

Love this Edgemere Two Piece Dual Flush. It arrived quickly and installed easily. Once I figured out the settings the dual flush worked flawlessly. Liked it so much that I ordered another right away. Sadly, it arrived shattered.

I got this toilet to replace a cheaper dual-flush toilet. Unfortunately more money does not mean better. I'll begin with the major issues. This toilet grows mold faster than a Petri dish. Within just one day of cleaning there is a large build-up of mold under the rim. When I clean it the toilet brush is covered in black mold. Another thing that is a problem is the toilet will rarely flush completely a second time after one flush. No, this is not due to any blockage. It happens with only liquid waste and even when cleaning. I give the bowl a swipe with a brush, flush the toilet, and when I try to flush again (and yes, I wait for the tank to fill completely) it will not empty the bowl completely. A minor issue related to that: I have to push down the button to flush and hold it until the toilet has completely flushed (when it does). It sounds very minor, but one should be able to push the button and release it right away and the toilet should flush. I have adjusted the pistons on the buttons to make sure they extend fully, but it does not help. None of these issues should be present in a toilet that costs this much. The toilet it replaced had none of these issues and was half the price. This toilet and the previous one were both installed professionally.

I got this toilet for the 3" trapway/dual flush/chair height/elongated bowl. The flush is too slow - you have to hold down the buttons for longer than you would expect, and it OFTEN messes up, then you have to wait for the incredibly slow fill speed to flush again. You are not saving water if you have to flush multiple times!

for the size it really flushes great, with less water, that's a plus to for my landlord cause water is included in the rents. With the size cut in half plus being taller it makes my bathroom look bigger. and me not getting any younger it's so nice not to have to sit so low. Also i love the feel and the easy close seat

I'm not crazy about the style of this toilet but that is kind of hard to come by. I would have preferred more contemporary styling. It flushes just fine though and we've been using it for about 4 months. I also like the flusher button on top of the tank which is also harder to find with a more traditional-looking toilet. My husband had no problems installing it.
