The American Standard Cadet 3 series has outstanding flush performance compared to other toilets I have installed. The package included a wax ring and mounting bolts but does not include a seat or fill line. Assembly was easy and straight forward. The bolts to attach the tank to bowl were pre-installed. All I had to do was install the tank gasket, set the tank on the bowl and then tighten the nuts. Bowl to floor was also simple. The nuts are plastic with a tri-lob design and a self centering nipple. The caps are tall so no cutting is required for the floor bolts. Flush is fast and fill is quiet. This particular model is a 12 inch mount with a 16.5 inch rim height (chair height). The three inch flush valve creates a powerful flush with low water usage. The bowl design includes a sanitary bar at the tank to prevent liquids from getting under the tank. The EverClean surface uses antimicrobial properties of silver to inhibit the grown of mold, mildew and bacteria. Water enters the bowl in a sweeping 360 degree motion to help completely clear the bowl.

I have another Cadet Toilet just like it in my main Bathroom and had to have this one for my second Bathroom. I Strongly Recommend this Toilet for Anyone who's Building or Replacing a Toilet.

I was very surprised that the ring seal did not come with the toilet.

The Cadet 3 has functioned very well, but I was disappointed on the porcelain finish on the bowl. The porcelain finish was wavy, not bad enough to return, but disappointing.

Take is smaller then old toilet but that is expected. It does a good job of doing its job

Installed this last week. Powerful Flush, just what I needed

I like the action of the flush. I've had 1.6 gal toilets get plugged. I have yet to have a 1.2 gal powerwash get plugged. I can back my 5 stars with the fact that this is the 3rd one I have purchased, I replaced 1 at camp and now 2 at home.

Awesome! I am a 60 yr old woman - installed 2 of these in my 85 yr old mothers house. She raves about them every day. People nowadays are larger- poop is bigger- you need the 3 inch hole- people are taller- their knees hurt as they get older. You need the higher toilet.easy install!

Well, it's only a been a couple weeks but we have had no problems. I like the quick flush. My old one was about 20 years old and it took a long time to flush. I've never worn out a toilet before but I have to say, I'm satisfied with the American Standard.

Easy installation.

Wife wanted this because the chair height was much more comfortable since she began having back pain. Product works fine. Good strong flush and water-saving too!

Can't stop a leak. American Standard's customer service was outstanding for sending me new gasket and bolts w/rubber washers and nuts, but it is still leaking. I believe it is from the factory installed flush valve. I have installed 7 or 8 toilets in my homes and have never had a problem. Not looking forward to purchasing new flush valve and trying to locate a tool to install. We love the operation of the Cadet 3 Powerwash toilet, but tired of working on it. For $300 plus ((bone color) the toilet should be completely functional. Home Depot did return $100 due to late shipping and damage on first delivery.

I only installed this toilet 2 weeks ago and already with out a doubt its the beat I have ever owned. The flush system is great & height is perfect also looks good in my bathroom.

Really pleased with the size, height, and shape of this toilet. The flushing mechanism is excellent. My plumbers installed it quickly with no problems.

The height and color are just perfect for our bathroom. I like that is a more powerful flusher than our previous toilet. My only concern is that the tank lid does not seem secure - it often slips off.

The slightly higher seat on this toilet makes it a comfortable part of the bathroom. The powerwash feature really helps to flush things down. The jury is still out about the everclean surface, though it seems, after only a week of having it installed, that this toilet will not be difficult to clean. The vitrified porcelain is easy to clean. The five-year warranty is unusual, and points to a company that stands behind the product. We'll put it to the test.
