Purchased this product to go in our kitchen, small bath and laundry areas. Did a ton of homework around it, watched all the videos, read reviews and read the instructions. However, the design on the locking system changed so if your product says 'drop and lock' the older videos do not apply any longer and it's not as simple of an install. Luckily Allure's support was extremely helpful and pointed us in the right direction to new instructions and videos (The ISOCORE videos show the new methods). For the ends of the board you will need a mallet or soft hammer to get those in as well, they do not just click in with the new system. After having the right instructions the process really sped up and it was easy to install and looks great! One thing to really keep in mind is how much flooring you will actually need as you will have a good amount of waste if there are a lot of odd cuts in the room. Because they have to lock you can waste pieces easily that can't be used elsewhere if you're not careful. Even being careful we still had piles of wasted pieces but the rooms were not simple square layouts, there were many odd cuts and obstacles. Overall the product is very nice and the finished product is fantastic. Time will tell how it holds up but so far we are impressed. I will also say that the new locking mechanism appears that it will take care of previous complaints of joints opening up over time. If you install this correctly I don't see how that could happen now.

They have changed the way the floor locks together and it sucks. The floor is no longer as tight as it was. Very disappointing. I wish I would have ordered a few extra boxes on my last order before the new style came out.

Product was badly warped and worthless. This was the second order since they messed up the first one. It took two months to get a shipment that we could not even use. I do not recommend this company or product.

This product is terrific. Looks great, relatively easy to install, and well priced. You Tube has lots of installation videos if you need help.

I have installed this product in 3 rooms of my house and it was amazing and easy to use. I had never done flooring or any kind of work really, but it was extremely simple. Sadly, I purchased more to do my hallway and the product they sent me was different than previous. Instead of interlocking ends and sides, the sides still interlocked but not very well and the ends just snapped in. It made it easier to install the ends however they did not hold well at all. Also they did NOT work with the old product. The old product (they must have changed it just a few weeks ago) was amazing. The new product is terrible with any floor that is not perfectly level. The old product would keep its hold b/c the ends and sides interlocked, but since the new type only snaps in on the ends, it is horrible with any difference in height of the floor. If the floor is not perfect then you can see seams between the boards which is extremely annoying visually and also then doesn't make the product waterproof. With the old product every thing interlocked great and you would never see the seams. Sadly I have to order 3 more boxes of this cr ap to finish the hall\way because I had to chuck the old stuff since they didn't work together.

Product quality is very good. Install is not as easy as portrayed, but manageable. I've never done flooring before, but my wife and I were able to install in multiple rooms and it looks great. Recommend a table saw with fine tooth blade to make cuts.

The planks did not break after scoring with sharp blade. Used my table saw with a 60t blade. Got a clean sharp cut. Looks like a new kitchen now.

It was confusing at first on the website when we ordered. Said this particular color was obsolete, then when we ordered it, new and improved. May be "improved" in the manufacturer eyes, but it is more difficult to put down than the old style. The old style (which we have installed ourselves before) had arrows printed on the back of each plank so you cannot mistake the direction to go in, not on the new style, also the drop and lock is more difficult. Ended up using a friend's special tools for laminate flooring to get it installed right. Once down, it is a beautiful flooring and I certainly hope it lasts as advertised.

My first time working with vynal planks. The "ultra" product is much heavier and thicker than other "Traffic Master" products. It does not "score and snap" like other vynal products. It installs much like laminate. I ended up using a chop saw, table saw and jig saw to cut the product. It took a lot of effort to get nice tight joints Looks great once you get it installed. In the nine boxes I purchased I found 2 flawed planks. Some type of debris had caused deep impressions during the mold/press process.

This flooring is fairly easy to install. It does not cut and break as easy as one might think. You have to be a bit aggressive with it. Also, I would not recommend this for small floor areas. I had about 20 sf to install and because it is a floating surface it has a tendency to move because there is not much of it to grip the subfloor.

I've never installed flooring before, but after reading the directions and getting organized, I started and found it was very easy. I finished our new bathroom addition in less than a day. Buy the tapping block, get a carpenters square, a box cutter and the vapor barrier. This is so easy, I'm going to use it in another home project we're working on. The floor looks great. Since this is a vinyl product I was concerned about the "vinyl" smell and the chemicals some products outgas, but this is a green product and there NO SMELL and NO CHEMICAL OUTGASSING to worry about. Perfect.

For some reason the interlocking of the planks was very poor

Difficult to install, mostly because the locking tongues appear to be to short. Because of this the sections separate very easily during installation, particularly when there is even the slightest unevenness in the foundation. I installed mine over a basement floor that was previously carpeted and damaged when our basement flooded. I laid it directly over the the concrete floor with only a vapor barrier in between as recommended (not in the instructions) I had to prowl the internet for that information.

Biggest issue was that when received, some of the pieces had damage to the tongue parts of the planks (particularly the corners). The installation of snapping them in place was a bit more challenging than expected to get the seamless appearance. The end result looks great and should last a long time.

Tried to use this and could not get the rows to stay together and the i have done several floors in the past with no issue. the material is dense and thin and says it is waterproof but spent 2 hours trying to make it work and ended up taking it all back. even when i could get it to lock there were sometime still small gaps. if they fix the the lock i would use it because waterproof is very useful in many parts of the home.

We wanted something for our mini laundry room makeover and wanted it to be waterproof, durable and aesthetically pleasing without spending a ton on tile flooring. We really wanted the "wood" look. It was easy to install once you got the hang of it in the first couple rows, use a mallet to fully put in place. The only issue was the last row which we planned to do under the washer/dryer in case it did not look perfect. We had to use thinner pieces on this row and it was hard to do that last click in place. We have had many compliments on the flooring!

I have installed this in both my home and beach house. I LOVE it! We have 2 dogs who sometimes have accidents in the house this cleans up like a charm! No worry about warping from the liquid. It's 100% waterproof. And so nice to walk on - not cold like tile. It's a not hot or cold to walk on, just neutral temp. It looks beautiful, too, just like wood. I love this light color of finish and it doesn't show dirt or dog hair, either. I highly recommend it. It's a little pricey, but worth it if you have pets.

The Vintage Oak Gray looked very much like real wood flooring. The colors and texturing in this flooring are beautiful! My only comment is "why doesn't Home Depot ever run the Traffic Master Allure and Ultra flooring on sale?"

I installed over1000 square feet of Allure Ultra Aspen Oak White in my house. All planks have consistenly good quality. They are beautiful and look like real hardwood planks

I had planned on having installed in three areas but my kitchen floor was so uneven that it wasn't working there. So had to change plans and buy the thinner version. But I love the two areas that it worked well in and would recommend it. I haven't cleaned it yet and I was not home when it was installed so can't comment on that.

We put this in our laundry room and it looks fantastic! A hint of gray and very nice looking. People think it's real wood but it's more durable and easy clean.

We watched the video of how to install this floor before we began which was a big help. It can be found of youtube. The floor associate was not very informational and sold us the incorrect piece to put where the floor met the ceramic tile. A little more knowledge of their part would have helped. We also purchased the 1/4 inch spacers and the tapping tool which is only available online. The pieces went together a little harder than shown but in the end it looks great. This was installed in the living room which has high traffic. It cleans very easy and is extremely durable. I am happy with the floor and will be installing it in the hallway.
