Assembling the sweeper was easy peasy. I have 3 maple trees in my lawn and they are messy! 10 hours of raking has been whittled down to about 4 or 5 hours. There are a few annoying things about the sweeper which have been commented on in previous reviews - but overall, I really like it! Best tip is to use on shorter grass. The first time I used the sweeper (late Oct early Nov) it was challenging but doable because the grass hadn't been mown in a few weeks ; got the lawn guys out to mow just before the City's second leaf pickup and it was a breeze. I sweep up in sections just as I did when I raked, dump the leaves onto a tarp and then move them out to the street.

Just purchased in May 2023 for primarily sweeping leaves, pine needles, and acorns from artificial turf in back yard. As you push the unit a lot of the debris is kicked out in front of the unit rather than being deposited backwards into the hopper bag. The issue seems to be the "gap" between the top of the turf and the bottom lip of the sweeper housing assembly is too big. But this could possibly be an issue due to it being used on artificial turf but sure seems like you could not ask for a better surface to be using this sweeper on that a smooth uniform soft artificial turf surface. I think unit could be improved by having an adjustable flexible "front lip" that allows sweeper to pass over the debris but also keeps the debris from being kicked out in front of the unit. I made a temporary make-shift front lip out of multiple layers of duct tape stuck together to make it more rigid and this quick fix seems to work pretty well but I'd like to come up with a more permanent front lip design. But I've only had this unit for one day....

One of the holes was not drilled which required me to drill a hole through dense metal. The level control is poorly built and does not hold. And the gearing is reversed so after fixing all that the thing just spits debris out of the front…. Stay away!

Most assembly easy. Used the video. Had to drill holes larger in axle mounting plate. Holes too small. Had to flex hopper base several times to fit properly on sweeper rail. Frame is not stiff enough. On second pass wheel back right came off of hub. Able to put back. Not sure why it happened. Very hard to unload. On third unloading bag tore. Years ago, I purchased an Agri-Fab pull behind and loved it and it lasted many years. Gave it to my dad lasted many more. Had new one for only 2 weeks

I just received my push sweeper and was disappointed to see that the right wheel was warped

I love it I did some modifications to it I added some swivel wheels on the back so it can move better the handles need to be sturdy other than that I love it

My wife bought this for my birthday back in April but since there weren't any leaves then I didn't put it together until now. I followed the directions, I looked at the assembly video and I can't see anything I did wrong but when I push it the brushes don't move. If I pull it, which is awkward, the brushes rotate but push the leaves out the front. Don't know what's wrong but can't recommend this to anyone.

I bought this November 2018, wish I'd gotten it years earlier. Easy to assemble, directions were easy to follow. Swept up leaves and many black walnuts. I have uneven ground, and was able to set and reset height of brushes during use. Long stems from walnut branches wrap around wheels, I took care to pull these out often to prevent damage. Easy to push/dump leaves out. Shoulder problems this year forced me to give up rakes and purchase sweeper, was the best decision I made. Too bad I waited until end of season .. all leaves were down so the bag filled up quickly at each row but glad it worked well.

The does the job. It beats raking leaves and filling 20 bags every two weeks. We enjoy it and we overlap our rows like mowing and get a great result.

Easy assembly and performs as promised....just as we consumers hope it will go. "What's not to like?" With current technology, I find poorly engineered and constructed items to be inexcusable and very exasperating . For its price, purpose, and my expectations, this was a good purchase.

I thought this sweeper worked very well. It doesn't pick up every little leaf/twig, but it does a really great job of picking up most easily. I read a lot of mediocre reviews for this before I bought it, so I was skeptical, but it's better than many reviewers give it credit for. Make sure to adjust the height correctly. That's the most important thing, and it's very easy to do. You should be able to feel the brushes brushing the ground. You want that to add a little resistance to your pushing but not so much that it's difficult to keep the sweeper moving. Level ground also helps as plenty of other people have mentioned, but it works fine on hills and slightly uneven ground. I disagree that it's only for light jobs. Our house backs up to a wooded area, and we get tons of leaves. But I could raise the sweeper to its largest height and pretty much tackle any pile of leaves. You won't get it in one pass by any means, but go over it a few times, lowering periodically if needed. It'll work. I actually think piles were easier than a large, light spread of leaves. The hopper is plastic and it fills up quickly. I don't get why this is a common complaint. It's a leaf collector. You want to it collect quickly. If it was any larger, it'd be unmanageable. It's a good size for transferring into a trash can/bag. You can fill up the hopper in about a minute, so you will spend most of your time emptying the hopper rather than sweeping. But that doesn't mean the hopper is too small. That's just how fast the sweeper works. As for the plastic durability, I haven't had mine very long at all, but it seems durable enough. It's made out of material like a common tarp, and we're just temporarily holding leaves here. The assembly isn't bad. Set aside an hour and you probably will be done early. The instructions aren't that difficult. You need some basic tools, really just a couple of wrenches. A hammer and needle-nose pliers will make your life much easier on the palnuts. This sweeper doesn't 100% pick up everything or eliminate the need to own a rake. In fact, it really works best if you rake leaves into little piles or rows that you can sweep over. My wife raked into rows that I swept over and we finished both of our seriously neglected, leaf-covered, not entirely level lawns in about 2 hours. That was 6 completely full 39 gallon trash bags of leaves. That would have been an all day project before. Clearing your lawn still takes some work, but this provides a massive reduction in the amount of that work. And it really doesn't take a ton of storage space when you're finished with it. It's easy to use and very effective. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this 26 inch lawn sweeper about a year ago. It took a while to get to the point where it picked up half as much as when raking. Last week, I noticed that when pulling it backwards there was too much resistance, when I checked it, I found that the left wheel was wobbling so bad that debris was getting in and the gears were binding.

Pro: Does what’s it’s intended to do — pick up leaves. But not without challenges. Cons: 1) The rod with the l-shaped hooks to secure the bag detaches easily; 2) The black hooks on the back are a nuance and if the leaf sweeper is not held at a certain height; 3) The bolts included were hard to tighten; 4) The height adjuster knob does not stay at the intended height; it will move even when tighten. With modifications, works like a charm, but I should not have had to make modifications.

I would recommend this product if you have a small area to clear. But if not this is not the item for you. It was not easy to put together. Took a while and then I had to carry to the grass because it was difficult to push on the ground where no leaves were.

This a great produce, it made picking up the leaves easier.

It does not work as advertised. I wish I could return it. The leafs do not go in the catcher and the catcher continually falls off. I’ve had it a month or so. It does not meet my expat all. And I spent $200 on it. I hope someone is reading this review. Please help!

It works good when your grass is cut.

Agri-Fab 26 inch Push Lawn Sweeper I bought this to sweep up pine needles that are lying on the grass. We have ponderosa pines which have needles that are 8 to 10 inches long. I found I had to play with the height adjustment. If it's too low you can't push it. If too high, it's easy to push but doesn't sweep up the needles. My conclusion is that using this lawn sweeper is a little better than raking. I decided to mow and bag the pine needles, so I returned the sweeper.

I used the Agri-Fab Sweeper to sweep some leaves in my yard. This product does not perform well on uneven ground. Very difficult to push and sometimes it would stop working. Sorry guys you only get two stars.

The brushes were either not low enough to “pick-up” the leaves, or they were so low they dragged so hard you could not push sweeper at all.

This unit is way overpriced and doesn’t work well. Don’t buy it. Invest your money in a leaf vacuum

Was easy to assemble and it works well. Appears to be well constructed.

Easy to assemble, just follow the directions. Sweeps up leaves, but you'll need to empty the small hopper frequently. I'm tall, so I need to bend over a little to push it. The top hopper hold bar is wimpy so I intend to replace it with a studier rod.

The Lawn Sweeper does a good job but can be hard to push on un-even ground.Try sweeping across the grain of the lawn instead of with the grain'Sweeping will sometimes be easier depending on terrain.Over all very satisfied so far.

It doesn't work as well as I thought it would. It also seems a little flimsy

Did not perform the way it is advertised. Zero stars. This product spreads all the dust, dirt, pollen in your face. It has no dust cover. Picks up little leafs. It is difficult to push and adjust. It is dangerous, unsafe to operate and flimsy.

Quality is what you'd expect for the price you pay. Wheels are a bit "off-kilter" due to main body of plastic sweeper a bit deformed, but doesn't really affect performance too much. Once height adjusted correctly (sweeper brush 1/2 inch below top of grass), it still takes about 3-4 passes to get the bulk of dry leaves. Too slow a push-rate and the sweeper doesn't kick up the leaves into the catch-bag, and too fast causes the leaves to fly right out of the bag. Lowering sweeper to try to get more leaves on a pass makes pushing too difficult. By far the biggest "dislike" I have is the size of the catch bag. Way too small requiring frequent emptying, and emptying is not an easy process as leaves still remain stick in sweeper when trying to dump/clean it out. Overall - it works mostly as advertised. I purchased it mainly because its mostly made in the USA, but perhaps I should've gotten a bigger size and higher quality item. Would recommend to someone only needing a light duty sweeper - not someone who's yard is surrounded by lots of trees.
