Quite easy to assemble and install. I did have a slight issue where the tabs on the motor hit the ceiling preventing it from slotting into the holder (black cage that bolts to the ceiling). The trick was to undo the cage screws, drop the motor in and then use a right-angle ratcheting screwdriver to do up the bolts again. Since I wanted it centered on the ceiling I used a Westinghouse F1100 Support Brace for Ceiling Fans which I picked up at a local Lamps Plus, and this worked perfectly for this installation, although it took a few tries to get it straight and centered on the hole. I also used a wrench to give it an extra half turn which they say not to but I wanted to make sure the teeth were locked in (don't go too far or you'll be separating your joists.)
Hardest part was running the wiring where there was none and no access from above on a first floor ceiling. The trick I used was to wire the fan into our downlights above a painting by removing the light fitting and can housing, and drilling through the adjacent ceiling joist then wiring the cable into the junction box for the can. To avoid having the lights permanently on I replaced the globes with BR30 Philips Hue lights which are always powered on and controlled from a tablet or smartphone. If you look at the picture the wiring goes to the left light even though the switch is on the right, reason being there are two joists between the right light and the fan and I found running a wire through two joists too difficult.
Performance was as promised. It generates a breeze even on the lowest setting and it's perfectly silent. On the maximum speed (6) it will blow away any papers you have lying around and all you hear is the woosh of the air. Given how efficient it is I'm very impressed and I think it looks very modern and stylish although my wife calls it 'fugly'. About to install two more in our upstairs bedrooms now.

Broke 2 months in no customer service
It was difficult for my electrician to install (=expensive). It looks of plastic rather than space age, it ceased working two months after installation. When I contacted both Home Depot and the manufacturer in AU, zero response. What is to love about that?

It's worth the bucks
Like a Porsche, it combines form and function. High quality, born in Australia but manufactured in China :( yet it operates like a Rolex watch. I purchased it on sale but would pay retail due to quality in parts, design, & function. Absolutely QUIET in all speeds w/no wobble. I doff my hat to the designer. It does not come with the 9 volt battery for the transmitter. Assembly is EZ but instillation you will experience a few challenges. The instructions/illustration manual is well written.

Cool fan
This fan is nice but it didn't come with the hardware kit. When I called the number on the front of the manual for missing parts the lady said they don't have a missing parts kit for this fan. Huh? Why do they have the number in the instructions? I had to order another fan, take out the hardware kit then return the new fan.

Excellent Fan - Super quiet but works extremely well
I was looking for a super energy efficient ceiling fan and came across this option. Its far cheaper than other fans in its category and is actually more energy efficient! The appearance is pretty nondescript. I had to take the blades apart a few times and try different combinations to get the seams to line up properly.
The only problem I had was that the fan would shut itself off periodically. It turns out it was an issue with the remote. Once I re-programmed the remote to use a different channel, the fan worked without fail.
We use the fan almost daily now that summer is upon us and it is excellent. Even in the lowest setting it creates a nice draft in our living room. I would replace every ceiling fan in our house if we could. Also, make a model with an LED down light!

even better than claimed!
extremely silent operation, it uses so little energy we keep it going winter (reverse) and summer. It moves air around silently and efficiently 14.9 watts on the highest speed!!!!
I assembled and installed it myself, perfect balance from the moment it first moved! This is the type of product that you do not mind spending the extra bucks on- what a design. Those Aussies one upped us on this my friends.

So far, so good
Fan is quiet and moves air efficiently. Blades hang from the bottom of the housing, so it will make your ceiling height seem lower. The design resembles an aircraft propeller and is shaped like a sculpture by Calatrava. If it works reliably, I will be pleased.
