A:  No, this fan doesn't support a light kit.

A:  No, this fan is for mounting on flat ceiling only.

A:  Hi John, unfortunately this fan is designed only for mounting flush to the ceiling. However there is a similar type fan that uses a down rod. A:  In the US market the fan operates on 100/120 VAC. It gets its extreme efficiency from a digital drive motor system which includes a remote- 5 speed for/rev on/off. EASY to install, did it myself. It is extremely quiet, even at full speed and the design of the impeller shaft combined with the three blades make it completely wobble free from the very first revolution. I cannot say enough good things about this advanced machine, it runs all day and night in our home to circulate air- for the wattage of an LED light bulb!

A:  The model sold in Australia is 240V, the Hampton Bay version is 115V for the US market.
