We bought the chandelier to replace one in our dining room that we ruined. How? The old one was supposed to have no more than 40-watt bulbs, and we put 60-watt in it. Over time, the bulbs burned out, but we couldn't get them out of the sockets because the extra heat from the higher-watt bulbs melted some plastic in the bulb socket wiring. As it turns out, we like this style fixture better because it goes with our table and floor lamps and arts-and-crafts furniture. This one uses 60-watt-equivalent bulbs. It was fairly easy to install, this being only the 2nd chandelier we've put up; took about 1-1/2 hrs, not counting the 30 minutes it took to take down the old one. The instructions were very good, so follow them exactly and u can't go wrong. Everything was very well protected in the carton. When it comes time to open up the chain links, wrap the link with blue masking tape on either side of the separation. Using a cloth, as suggested in the instructions, is hard to handle. Wrap the links with 3 or 4 layers of tape and they won't get scratched by pliers. You can peel them off with a sharp-point knife when you finish the installation. Over our dining table, we put the fixture on the shipping carton, cardboard from inside the carton, and styrofoam from inside the carton, while doing the wiring and chain fitting so I didn't have to hold the fixture with one hand while trying to attach the wiring, etc, into the outlet box. The only thing I didn't like about this fixture was that the bases for the bulbs and the bases for the glass shades needed some tweeking to get them in the right positions so everything would look even. That was a minor concern. We are thinking about ordering the 3-light chandelier for our breakfast nook, to tie it all in. Here's something you may not be aware of: a couple weeks after we bought the fixture, Home Depot offered it for $44.85 less! So, I called HD customer support and they sent me an HD store credit card for that amount!

When we bought our fixer upper colonial, this was one of the first items I purchased. We always get compliments on it and people say that it looks like it went with the house all along. We recently had our dining room remodeled and this was the one item everyone agreed to keep and we designed around its style. Great purchase. My husband shortened the chain and we have it on a dimmer switch. Happy and I would highly recommend it!

Ordered these lights to update kitchen lights we have which currently are standard industrial fluorescent style fixture. The detail and finish of these chandelier style lights are fantastic and they add such a warm light to our kitchen as light is reflected through the tiffany style globes. Beautiful detailing and craftsmanship on the fixture and the globes of the light and they are very sturdy and were relatively easy to install. Hanging a fixture with a chain and multiple pieces above your head is always a bit of a challenge but on the whole the installation went very well. We incorporated some other tile products from Home Depot to surround the light on the ceiling to cover over the large cavity left from the fluorescent fixture and we are very pleased with the way the tiles match and coordinate with the colors from the chandelier. We have Home Depot scheduled to reface our kitchen cabinets in a few weeks so we are excited to see how the new cabinets and the new chandelier style lights will tie together and we anticipate it will also look great. Our kitchen is so much brighter! Really happy!

I love my island lighting.

We love this Addison pendant light which hangs over our kitchen island. It's well made and matches other items in our kitchen/great room area that are in the stained glass/wrought iron mission style. The fan was not difficult to install and is perfectly aligned over the center of the island which we accomplished simply by turning slightly where it hangs in the ceiling. It's now the focal point of our kitchen!

We needed something to light up our table since our other chandelier was aesthetically pleasing but useless function-wise. I was sad to see our farmhouse style chandelier go, but this lights up the entire table because the lights point downward.

i do not like it. It does not look right in my small kitchen, It does not give off much light I wish that I could return it to Home Depot.

Product was advertised and looks very nice in our dining room. The shipping and tracking communications was not very good, but the item was delivered in about four days later and in good condition. The installation instructions were not very clear, but I was able to complete the installation in about one hour. I would recommend this item.

Very nice chandelier. A little tricky to level the stained glass shades, but once that is done it looks very like.
