I bought this fan for my new greenhouse. it was so easy to install and it runs great. no worries about on/off switch. it goes on automatically. highly recommend.

Doesn't move a lot of air

The product worked as expected for my small shed application. It is important to note you need direct sun light for operation. A battery and thermostat would be a welcome update.

Works great! Keeps the shed cool you can notice a major difference. The only issue without direct sunlight it will not work.

Still working on every sunny summer day. Sun must be directly on it. Small fan moves air quietly. I did not expect large movement of air so I am happy with results. Slow steady exhaust in afternoon hot sun. When it is needed most. Plus it exhausts naturally when fan not activated.

Easy to install. Don’t have too high of expectations, it is after all a $53 fan. Using it for a playhouse and it is quiet and has worked in mostly cloudy days . Overall, happy with the purchase so far.

Install was easy. Working fine in 100 degree heat.

I love it!!! In our small, under 1000sf, home it gave our hvac a break on hot days. The house felt noticeably cooler. Gonna purchase 2 more at this price!!!

Panels need full direct sunlight to operate. Any shade or overcast stops the fan. I installed one fan each on two connex shipping containers. They seem to help.

Fan is very little and weak. The solar panel has to be in direct sunlight for the fan to run. Also. The solar panel doesn’t charge any kind of internal battery so the panel will only ever be in direct sunlight for a very limited amount of time during the day.

It just doesn't work. The solar panel MUST be placed facing direct sunlight. Even 20 degrees away from the sun, the fan will not work. It seems rather pointless to put this on your roof, shed, or RV unless you plan to sit there all day holding the solar panel toward the sun

Received in a timely manner. All fans worked well and we were amazed at what they did “took out the hot air from ceiling.

So far work as advertised. Quality appears to be good and built sturdy. We shall see how well it hold up to South Florida weather.

Works well for our 10’x10’ Shed

Decent .basically just a vent .solar fan has a very small draw of air.

Easy to install, moves air well and cools the attic as expected.

I bought this unit thinking I'd try it and buy another two if it worked. I immediately took it out of the box and put in in the middle of my driveway around 4PM. The fan didn't come on. I picked it up and angled it toward the sun. nothing! I called the next morning and was told the solar panel must face directly into the sun for the fan to work. So I went outside faced the panel at the sun. The fan came on. I turned the panel 30 degrees away from the sun. The fan turned off. Facing-on. Away-off. I returned it to Home Depot. I was not planning to sit on my roof to face the panel toward the sun all day. I figured the fan would work when the sun was out (not in the shade) and would turn off around dusk. NOPE.

Seems to do the job.
