The top is falling apart. It was covered when not in use. $500. Looks terrible

Bought in Sep 2017, lasted about a year and started flaking. Always covered during rain/storms/winter. Now it is looks horrible and not only has it continued to flake but now its deteriorating and chips of the material look like someone has started digging at it. We don't really know what the top is made of (resin?) so not sure how to paint/seal/etc. The fire still works. Can NOT believe we paid $490 for this piece of junk. Won't buy this brand again and questioning Home Depots choice of low quality products.

So disappointed in this...I got mine last Fall and bought a cover to protect it thru Winter. By this Spring , much of the finish has flaked off. It is too big and cumbersome to return. It works fine, but looks terrible and it isn’t even a year old.

I purchased this fire pit one year ago. It worked great and we enjoyed it last summer. We covered it for the winter and uncovered it today. The finish has peeled off the table top in several areas and the top is cracked and peeling. It should last longer than one season. I have left a voicemail message for AZ Patio Heaters and am waiting to hear back.

worst product ever, did even last for 3months . DONT BUY !!!!

We have had it for a week and so far so good. Appears sturdy and was pretty easy to assemble. Knocked off one star because it is not MOCHA, it is a Blueish-gray and Black top. Not bad looking, just not what we thought we were getting. Please update your picture/description.

I paid around $500 for this product & have only had it 3 months. Already is chipped in so many places & it rusting also. Was so not worth the money & Home Depot is not willing to return the item either when it’s clearly defective. Definitely will never recommend this fire pit or Home Depot to anyone.

It works. It looks OK. But that's about all I can say positively. It appears to be poor workmanship, cheap materials and pathetic assembly instructions.

Bought this product over 2 years ago and it's been one of the best investments I have ever made. Love siting out on summer nights looking at the fire while enjoying a drink.

Looks exactly as pictured, arrived quickly (193 lbs. dropped at the curb), took about an hour to assemble. Other reviewers right to have complained about the top pealing off; the top of the unit is only covered with some kind of paper and our brand new unit has a small spot already gone!

A little bit trickier to put together than expected, but love it!

Took about 2 hours to assemble. Definitely two or three person effort to upright unit after assembly. Attachment of top did not match instructions, but we figured it out. We also needed to discover where the battery went for the ignition. Overall the unit is sturdy and looks great in our courtyard. Also liked that a protective cover was included.

Purchased several months ago. Ignition switch never properly worked, very difficult to get lit. Noticed a few weeks ago that the top started chipping off which got significantly worse, quickly. Only used a couple times and will be contacting HD Customer Service for refund/replacement.

Took a long time to put together. It looks nice but will not stay lit unless you hold the button. Home Depot said to bring it back and they would refund or give us another one. That means several hours of putting another one together again.

Extremely happy with the purchase. We received it right before Christmas and have used it literally non-stop since it arrived. The flame is excellent and a full tank of propane has lasted about 8 hours or so on high. Instructions were OK (not great) but if you are at all handy with tools you can put it together in under 2 hours by yourself. A socket wrench will absolutely save time. A 5 out of 5.

Great fire table! Sturdy & well made! Be home for delivery, it arrives on a huge crate. Driver was very kind to set down in our garage. Easy to put together. Set on high if you want any warmth. I like the ambiance so we leave it between low & medium.

The fire pit was easy to assemble and works just fine. It is attractive and adds a real nice touch to our patio.

Fire Pit works very well and puts out good heat. The unit is very attractive and assembly was fairly straightforward with the only challenge being the instructions did not show where the igniter battery went. Minor issue. We have thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is really substantial and solid. The base is all steel bolted together with 1/4" bolts. (We'll have to see how well the bolts weather). I believe the top is thick fiberglass with the top tiles bonded on. The thin accent stripe in the tile surface looks a little like leopard print so ...

We love our fire pit...easy to assemble. However, remember to remove the styrofoam protective covering on the top. There is a sticker on one of the ends that says. "front". Meaning, that is where the doors are positioned. We didn't know that because the styrofoam was covering up the sticker and consequently we installed it backwards. No biggie, we just took it off and turned it around. Also, I think they should have supplied a bigger bag of glass. We bought more. Fire pit looks great and we love it.

The fire table looks great and works well. It went together with no issues. The only disappointment is with the fire glass. Instead of fire glass beads we got crushed broken glass which presents a cut hazard when handled . Also there was barely enough to cover the burner. Granted you probably would not be touching the glass once installed, but we have grand children and worry about them touching the glass if the cover is off and the burner is off. We will replace the broken glass with glass beads ASAP.

Just rec'd today, the box states is 38" x 38" x 24.5", are not the same on the package as in the Home depot shows 40" x 40" x 25". Looked at some 38" models that were less...if this could be a problem may want to order cheaper model.
