We have researched all air filters on price and quality and settled in on the Home Depot selection. It is easy for us to receive to the facilities.

The filters were of excellent quality and the order was accurate.

I just can't recommend this product. Yes, it's cheaper than other air filters with similar MERV ratings. However, when I installed, I immediately noticed a few things: (1) they're really about 19 3/4" x 19 3/4' x 1" - not much of a difference, but enough play to perhaps allow air to flow around the seams, depending on your configuration; (2) the hot aqua border that you see in the pic - that's on both sides, so whereas a 3M filter is pure white on the side that faces outside of the grill, this one has the aqua border and writing that you can clearly see; and (3) the cardboard crosspieces show as well - again, the side that faces out on a 3M filter is completely white and without the cardboard crosspieces, this one shows. If these items don't bother you, then perhaps this is a great filter for you. However, if you don't want to read "PRE-PLEAT 40" in aqua when you look at your filter grill, then maybe this isn't your best bet. I'm going to use through this case I purchased, then most likely go back to the 3M - they're more expensive, but have a more solid fit and are aesthetically pleasing. Just my two cents worth.

Ease of order and storage ,ready for use as needed. I replace my filters every 30 to 45 days depends on summer runs of A/C and age of unit. Good not to have to run to the store and at 1/2 the price , great buy!

Good fit, slides right into place. Filters the air stream, can been seen during removal of old filter.

The specs for these filters equal those for much more expensive filters. Why waste your money? They arrived on time and in good condition.
