Piece of junk!
Worthless! The chute from the blade clogs all the time. It works ONLY to vacuum up leaves but not grass. Now my chute broke where it attaches to the deck! A small slit in a piece of plastic, not a good design! Only the first 2 bags fill up and never all 3! Sorry l bought this system when l bought my mower! I know to replace the broken part of the chute system will cost an arm and a leg and l just don’t think it’s worth it.

Horrible design
As noted in other reviews, the sealing flange where the chute enters the bagging housing is flimsy. The rubber gasket tore after my first use and the flange that holds the gasket was pulling a loose from the catcher lid. The lid is huge and required folding the seat forward. Attaching the chute to the deck is ridiculously tedious and difficult, so they’re no “quick” changeover from side discharge to grass catching mode.
No wonder the Grass Collector is so expensive since Husqvarna includes TWO drawbars in the package to accommodate their 2 different tractor designs, rather than have 2 different part numbers.
And to top it off, the catcher really does a poor job of collecting grass - the chute clogs way too easily.

Chute to bagger is a horrible design
Horrible design where chute goes into the bagger. Plastic attachment ring keeps popping off sending debris all over the operator back

Horrible design
The gasket gets destroyed very quickly and getting it replaced is almost impossible. It starts throwing grass back at you instead of in the bags and you end up wearing most of the yard.

Worst bagging system I've ever used.
I do lawn care for a living so I've used several different bagging systems over the years and this is by far the biggest waste of money. All it does is blow the majority of the lawn debri out the front and side of deck from underneath the tube so you're just chasing the leaves or grass clippings over and over. There is no good seal anywhere on this setup. And the tube seal at the bagger hood completely pops off because the plastic body pins are so short. Am I missing something for the deck mount or is it just this poorly designed?

Tube assembly not durable
I love this bagger for the first season but the rubber flange that connects the top tube to the bagger compartment tears apart easily when you have to remove the tube. Once that rubber flange gets torn, you will get covered in grass & dirt every time. Parts are difficult to find without buying whole new expensive bagger.

46" 3 bag Bagger
I bought this with my new tractor. This thing bags grass great. My old one I had to stop and clear the chute eveytime before it bagged. This one I have not had to clear it once,. Bagger excellent.

It works right all day every time
I purchased the bagger with my 54 inch ZTR about 5 years ago. I collect grass in the spring to help me hill my potatoes and sweep up leaves from my 40 large trees. It’s a pleasure to use equipment that performs so outstandingly well

Poor quality
My mower has 124 hours on it. I have used the bagger maybe 60 hours of this. After only about 20 hours on the bagger I had to reinforce the chute as can be seen in the picture. The chute is also splitting as can be seem in the other picture. Very poor quality.

Poor quality
I bought this bagger in the spring but have not used it until this fall to bag leaves. While using it for the third time I noticed that the bagger was sagging. Upon closer look, I found a broken weld on the mounting bracket. Other issues, the rubber strap that holds the two chutes together is tearing already and the cheesy rubber ring that goes around the upper chute doesn't seal around the chute very well thus allowing grass or leaves to blow all over me. I wish I had spring for the 3 bin bagger as the two bin was a complete waste of money.

Terrible Design
The entire grass tube is solid black plastic. There is a little whiz wheel towards the back that is supposed to show if there is a clog. Sometimes it spins; sometimes it doesn’t. A small clear section would make it easy to see AND unplug a clog without removing connections from the deck. The section of tube that attaches to the deck is held with a tiny strip of plastic. It has been used exactly twice and the strip is almost broken loose. The bracket that holds the catcher frame to the rear of the tractor uses a welded pin to stabilize it in the tow plate. This means that even with the frame in place (no grass catcher mounted), you can not attach a towable cart. A simple screw would have sufficed, and allowed use of the hitch.

Work saver

Bad Design
Purchased this first of the year to use this spring. After a while trying to get it to properly fit, I was able to use it. Each time I used it, the chute would disengage and blow the leaves everywhere. This had happened each time I used it. It works well for about 100 feet, then the issue comes back. I tried to see if there was a way to secure it better, but that does not seem to be an option. At this point I feel like I may have gotten a defective unit but I am unable to return it for a replacement. I would be stuck paying for the shipping charges as no store in my area has these in stock. Even if I did an exchange, I was told I would have to pay 99 shipping again. I have always bought Husqvarna products but this may stop if I cannot get this corrected. I will be trying some other "fixes" and will update my review if needed

Not a good Product for the high price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this bagger 2 summers ago and the seal around the chute for the tube broke and I ordered replacement from online using the product number and they are too big for this bagger. I call the company and they did not have any replacement parts for it. The seal broke the first time I used it the second year (2023). Now the grass catcher can't be used. The base piece of the tube does not stay attached as it should. If you hit an uneven spot in your lawn, it pops off the deck of the lawnmower.

I've had this bagger for 6 years & it works great
I don't understand the low reviews from some people. I wonder if they were careless. I have had the bagger for 6+ years and they have been dependable and reliable and really get the job done. The components are well made and tough for general use in grass and leaf collection. The bags take a beating and hold up very well! This product has saved me hours and hours of work. Hats off to Husqvarna! Great product!

Poor design to remove shoot when needed.
The way this bagger attaches to the tractor is a total disgrace. I must remove the deck rolling wheel to get to the bolt to take the shoot off. I can't tell you how disappointedI was when I wanted to take the bagger off and had to hacksaw the front bolt off because it kept turning from the inside. I expected more from Husqvarna....

Worst bagger in bagger history. DO NOT BUY
It's not possible this was ever tested even one single time prior to going into production. The arm is too short which results in its constantly falling out and just blowing grass all over you. You can't go 50 feet without it falling out. It's the most frustrating and annoying piece of equipment that I have ever had to pay good money for.

Works great
Recently purchased this and installed it yesterday on my TS248XD Husqvarna riding mower. It came with 2 metal plates that needed to be installed on the bottom front of the clear cut fabricated deck. Installation was pretty simple. First run out bagging the chute housing seal cover where the chute enters the bagger unclipped and grass and leaves blew out. I did see earlier reviews about this issue. I removed the housing and rubber gasket then cut 8 of the plastic clips on the corners and middle and only left 4 for alignment. I sanded flat the 8 I cut, marked, pin punched and drilled them out to install nuts and bolts. After doing this it worked perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better system. I would have given it a 5 but this issue and the way you need to install the bottom chute to the deck with bolts and wing nuts doesn’t make sense if you don’t want to bag all the time. I liked the rubber bands and clip method on my old rider bagger.

Bagger Problems
I have been using riding mowers for years with baggers and never had and issue until I purchased this bagger for my TS242XD. This is the worst design for a bagger I ever seen. The upper chute keeps coming out of the bag cover and the mower operator and the mower get covered by cut grass. I can't seem to find a way to keep the chute in the cover. The mower and the grass catcher are only 4 months old so nothing is damaged.

Wish I could return it
Purchased this brand new from a local dealer along with a mower and this thing is just the worst. It clogs, the plastic pins that are supposed to hold it in pop out, and it’s a pain to use so I don’t. I’m trying to resell it on Facebook to recover at least half of my money.

Design Sucks!!
In reading the reviews of others with the chute coming out of the bagger I have to agree with all of them! I have a 2011 2246 with triple bagger. I have replaced the plastic frame and rubber gasket on the bagger many times. I cut a piece of old gasket and glued it to the bagger gasket extending the bagger hole. Also bent the bagger bracket towards the seat to push the chute closer. So far so good. But yes, terrible design!!

Bagger lid is a problem
I've had my Husqvarna TS242XD tractor for two years now and it works great - mowing in summer and snow plowing with the blade in winter. For mowing, I have the double bagger. Is easy to install and remove the chute from the mower deck when needed - it has clips to attach - just need to adjust the mower deck height to easily undue and re-attach the clips. The chute stays in place well. My problem is that the bagger lid does not stay closed. It slips open and then clippings blow out of the bagger chute and do not go in to the bags. I had an old Craftsman (finally died) with same type of double bag system and the lid was never a problem. Going to try and rig something up to keep the lid closed.

Poor design.
Bagger is alot of money for what you get. Rubber gasket breaks in no time and the rubber strap that hold the tube together breaks also. It is very difficult to detach the bagger from the mower. It also leaks where attached. I also get grass all over me due to faulty equipment. Trying to order new gasket and strap still hasn't came in been months. Had to zip tie the bagger frame up because it was sagging and the tube was coming out on it's own. Over all for the money not worth it. It's plastic , rubber, and netting over priced.

Terrible Bagging System Design
Our 2 year old TS242XD with 17 hours on it has at least 30+++ hours on just the bagger itself just trying to have it stay together long enough to finish our small lawn. Ihave owned and been very satisfied with Husqvarna equipmemt over many years but the engineer who authorized this bagger was very demented or just plain dumb.
The mower works FANTASTIC & we're very please with it.

New purchase
The lower chute tubes do not fit to my TS354XD correctly. The mounting hole is molded at mounting hole on a raised area and will not sustain use without tearing. Bad molding/shape.

Husqvarna Triple Bagger - Nope
Not user friendly. Attaching chute to the mower is difficult (lie on ground, etc). Leaf pickup is good but......Every time you empty, the rubber around the chute into lid detaches - so you have to reattach Every time. If you decide to not bag for a bit, you can't easily detach the chute from the mower. Other baggers use heavy rubber straps for easy attach/detach and the chute hole is in 2 halves with rubber seal - much better design.
