This is the most perfect, economically friendly gas log set you can buy on the market. Comes with everything you possibly need. However, like most of the others said, don't waste your time and spend the extra $15 for a 12" flex pipe. It will cut your installation time tremendously. I tried using the pipe it came with to give it a shot, but there was just no possible way to get it to fit no matter how it was bent. I had the 12" flex pipe at my side, just in case. After I wised up, it took me 5 minutes to install with the flex pipe. The fake embers, and glow look great. One of my logs came broken, so i'll be contacting the manufacturer for a replacement, but its still usable until I get that. Dont waste your money spending 2-5 hundred dollars on any other set.. this is the one!

Unbeatable price and the gas log looks awesome in my fireplace even when it's off. When it's on, looks VERY real and glowing ambers are the icing on the cake (well below the cake in this case). Make sure to leave a lot of edges on the amber (glowing material) - those edges are the ones that give you the glow, so tear as needed. No more cleaning the fireplace or messing with wood when you're trying to enjoy a glass of wine with your girl!!!

As so many other reviewers have said my decision to purchase these was also based on the reviews here. Pricing gas logs out there is unbelievable given just how much you can spend and what you have to spend for even the most average of sets. That being said to have these show up for $101 inc. tax and free shipping was awesome. They totally do the job unless your expecting absolute awe inspiring results and your just the picky type. If that's the case go spend $500 and enjoy. Otherwise you won't find a better deal out there and on top of that every Home Depot in my area was completely out of everything anyway. I couldn't find a set anywhere for less than $250. So to summarize we are absolutely satisfied with these logs and highly recommend them for the price.

For the past 5 years I have been thinking about getting a gas log set but wasn't sure if I would like it as much as a real fire. After reading the great reviews for this set and considering the VERY low price I decided to go for it. The set arrived yesterday and it took me about 15 minutes to install in my fireplace and it looks AMAZING and crackles just like a real fire. The secret to this set is the placement of the grate and the logs so that you get nice yellow flames in and around the logs. This log set is DEFINITELY worth the money. Save yourself a LOT of money and purchase this set, you won't be disapointed. I can't wait for it to get really cold, puts out good heat.

Purchased on line, the set arrived in perfect condition. It is a little messy to unpack (do it outside), but there was no damage. Assembly was easy and quick. The only real challenge is to hook it up to your gas supply. Every fireplace is different. The bendable aluminum tube provided is OK if your fireplace is large, but in a small one such as ours, you may need to use only fittings or a combination of fittings and the tube. Once running, the appearance is very nice and realistic. It also puts off lots of heat so it isn't just a pretty thing to look at. I'd highly recommend this set as a great bargain and value!

Even after reading the reviews, I was doubtful about the quality of this low price set. I was very wrong, as it was a terrific deal for the price. Other than wishing I had bought a flex tube, I could not be more thrilled about the end result! AND free shipping, you can't go wrong.

Very happy with this gas log set. The price was the best one i've seen. Logs are realistic looking enough and the glowing embers just add the perfect touch. Installation was fairly easy but just like other people have said we had to get a flex pipe as the one that comes with it is junk. Even spending the extra on the pipe it still comes out to be a great product for the money. highly recommend!

everything arrived complete and intact,and in reasonable time. no trouble putting together.directions fairly simple. if you have never bent tubing before,can be a little difficult if in a big hurry. work slowly and dont try to bend all at once or very sharply as will kink. other than that everything fine. would recommend to anyone.

Good price, easy assembly and good advice from my local Home Depot on questions I had about the installation. The wrong gas line was sent. A straight tube was sent instead of the flexible one shown in the instructions and it was too long so I had to purchase a tube cutter and a flaring tool.

The log set was really really nice for the money, but the shipping was extremely slow and the main front log came broken. I called the supplier and they are sending a new one, but it has been a week and a half now and I am trying to close on a house I need this set complete!

This is a good value if you're looking for a basic gas log set. Measure your fireplace space carefully since the total width of the set is close to 23". The logs aren't the most realistic looking but then again, you're not paying big bucks for it. I do have two complaints. One is the fixed gas tube, which was too difficult to bend without putting a kink in it. I ended up buying a flexible gas hose, which should have been included with this set in the first place. The other is the instructions on laying the gravel and fake ember material in the burner pan. The instructions show complete coverage of the inside of the burner pan, which forces the flame to shoot from the sides of the pan (not good). It's better not to cover the flame bar with gravel if you want a vertical and more realistic flame. Both cons are easy to rectify so I would definitely recommend this gas log set if you're on a limited budget.

A nice, inexpensive, easy to install gas log set. It even kicks out quite a bit of heat.

Product was exactly what I expected. Inventory pictures did not match product though. This needs to be updated. Function was good but beware of rigid aluminum gas line. This may not be to code in certain areas. I purchased a flex gas line at HD.

My local plumber had the gas log set up and running in no time. It produces an extremely realistic looking flame and was exactly what I was looking for! The price versus quality is exceptional.

No problems with assembly or installation. It was bigger than I expected (good value) and it looks so realistic. You just wouldn't believe how real until you've seen it. Why would anyone ever need real wood?

The package came with all the needed things for a gas fire place. The molded gas logs are supposed to be arranged in the same way as the picture shows due to only the viewer side is colored like natual log.

You cannot beat this price. Prices for comparable products are double or up to several times more than this. Looks like a real fire. You will still need to buy a flexible gas line. The brass one included would be a pain to mold to fit your needs.

There were both broken logs and missing pieces when I opened the box. I haven't been able to use the product and now with spring coming it will likely be next winter. I've yet to contact Home Depot because the big yellow sheet inside the box said to contact the manufacturer not HD. Hmmm? Why can't I just take it to the HD less than a mile from my house and get it replaced?

I bought this item as a birthday present to myself. What a present I couldn't be more pleased. I think my husband likes it more than I do. He experienced some small challenges while putting it together but it was worth it.

Perfect fit for a fireplace that is 22 inches across the back. When I hired someone to install them, he couldn't believe I had gotten such good looking logs for such an incredible price. He had expected me to say that I had spent around $400 on them, not $100. He thought they were the steal of the century, and this comes from someone whose whole job is installing these.

The connector tube did not work that came with the product. We had to make several trips to HD to figure out a way to connect it to the gas outlet because the tube was too long. We ended up using several short elbows to connect it. Otherwise, it was everything we expected; a good value.

we were foruntate to have professionally installed, and he made easy task of bending the metal flared pipe to fit - it is beautiful, and very good value for the money. Even looks real when not lit!

After shopping a number of sources, I was drawn to Home Depot online for a set of "fake" logs for a gas fireplace. I was a bit nervous about buying sight unseen because the price was about 1/4 to 1/5 that of other stores. Was I ever surprised. The quality was excellent (even better than that of a local fireplace store). Shipping was free, and I feel I got an amazing deal.

The instructions for the log placement are useless. The appearance is almost average. I wouldn't buy it unless it was deeply discounted on sale.
