No more getting wood outside and draggng through the house. This product is makes one great cozy fire. Exceeds my expectations for this price. No need to spend anymore.. Great fire flames and embers.

I wanted to purchase a gas log set for my fireplace. I was tired of purchasing, storing, and the cleaning that went with burning real wood. Local businesses that sold gas log sets were way out of line in the prices, so I went to the internet. Through Home Depot I found this excellent gas log deal and I placed my order, received the gas log set, installed it, tried it out, and have been more than pleased with it ever since. The flames around the artificial logs give a realistic scene and my guests are very impressed with what they see. The only suggestion I would make to the dealer would be to include a flexible gas connector instead of the rigid one. I didn't trust myself to make the necessary bends in the rigid one so I went to a local hardware store and bought a flexible gas connector. After that, the installation was a snap and I now have a brand new fireplace!

Product was very inexpensive & easy to install & comes with everything you need to hook it up. Extremely real looking fire & it puts off a descent amount of heat. I'm very satisfied.

Love this product. After looking at other options that were twice as expensive I am so glad we got these. They look great in our fireplace!

Package received on time and intact, nothing broken or missing. Assembly went well, with the only problem being when after the first firing resulted in a pungent odor. We have since learned that it is recommended to burn for a 24 to a 48 hour period to eliminate the odor I feel this information should be included in the assembly instructions. We are now almost odor free.

My plumber had to purchase several parts that were not in the kit. One, I believe it was a regulator which was an additional $32.00 and copper tubing which was $40.00. The flames are beautiful and it looks real.

This gas insert with log set is very realistic. Well-made fake logs burn like real wood -- without the smoke or ashy mess to clean-up. The flames and crackle & pop give the appearance of a real fire, adding warmth and atmosphere to your living room. I can't say that it takes the place of a furnace, but it does the trick here in California where it doesn't get so cold.

I've been looking at Logs since I bought my house 6 years ago. Could not decide....Then my wonderful daughter bought this one for me for Christmas. It has everything I was looking for. It looks & feels Natural. It's perfect. Wish I had bought it sooner. Thanks, Cyndi.

this set is such a great value. i am so glad we did not spend $200.00 plus on the other sets we saw. we had to run our black pipe for the gas and drill into our fire box and even with all that work it still only took us 5 hours to set this whole thing up. if you are thinking of converting a real wood burning fire to a gas log set then this is you set!!!

I elected to use a flexable gas line and found the the installation to be easy. I did not use the small log grates that came with the kit. I had larger grates from our older fire place log set and used them instead.

The gas log set was difficult to install, partly due to my gas pipes being stuck. I would say it is moderately difficult without stuck pipes. The log set looks very nice, the embers look completely real! The flame through the logs is not large, but is like a nice, small fire. It does not produce much heat, especially at first; the longer I let it burn the more radiant heat it puts out (I think the logs really heat up!). I would recommend this set for appearance and some heat. If you are looking to really warm up the room, this probably won't do it.

Much more convenient that actual wood. No clean-up nescessary. Heats room better than wood.

All comparable log sets are at least twice the price. My only complaint is about the gas pipe this set comes with. It's difficult to bend/shape it to fit your fireplace, but like other reviews have stated, buying a gas flex line resolves this issue easliy. Wasn't hard to install and looks great when finished.

Instructions were simple to follow which made a do it yourself installation project relatively easy. Also, very easy to light. Nice Flame. Great price!

I installed the gas log set last weekend and it has worked really well so far. The logs may not be detailed as nicely as sets costing 2 to 5 times more but once lit it has a really realistic look. My wish is that they packaged all of the parts in bubble wrap. The burner pan poked thru the underside of the cardboard box and damaged our floor. It would also be nice if the supply line was coated black like the rest of the set. That said, most of the other log sets I looked at do not even supply a line, making this set an even greater value.

Great price, can't find anything close elsewhere. Installation is a bit tricky due to vague instructions. Not particularly complicated, just takes some time to do it right. When finished, it works fine and looks good.

Looks great, works good. Easy to install. I bent the hard line provided, which worked okay, but agree with others, it would have been easier to use a flexible gas line. Very happy overall, much cheaper than others I found online for the same quality.

Free shipping was great, adding to the value. From the time of order to the time of receipt was a little slow, but not unreasonable. The only installation problem was the rigid aluminum connection pipe. I could not use it for my fireplace, but had a spare flexible connector left over from a gas dryer installation. If I would have had to buy a flex hose it would have added $20 to the cost. As it was I had to buy a $5 right angle fitting to be able to install the log using my flex hose connection pipe. Once installed per the enclosed instructions, It looked very realistic with the gas flame and glowing embers.

I'll be honest. I bought them because they were the cheapest I could find that would fit my fireplace, not expecting much of anything but was extremely surprised when they arrived! Great looking, and easy to follow instructions. The one negative is the gas line they supply is way too long and has to be cut down and unless you have a pipe flare tool it is impossible (you'll need a pipe flare tool). Otherwise, this is great!

I got this for around $100 all in with tax and shipping. It is not the top of the line but solid and looks surprisingly real. It was a bit of a struggle to get the gas line bent just right but once I did I was all set. I also had to go to the hardware store to get an "L" shaped gas line bracket but once I had the right parts it wasn't too bad. Great value for the price.

The instructions are a little vague but I had it installed in about an hour and it looks great.

Having read the other reviews before I purchased, I assumed I wouldn't be able to use the enclosed directions, much top my surprise they were just fine. I think a lot of folks shouldn't be attempting these kind of projects...have someone install it for you. Great product! Definitely recommend to all!

This product has made us very happy! We read all the reviews before purchasing and even went out and bought a flex hose in preparation but wound up not needing it. The most headache we had putting this in was removing our old ragged pipe from the fireplace. I am a woman -- and I do so-so with tools -- and this was suuuuuuper easy for ME to install! My husband was amazed! I would recommend these gas logs to anyone! My one complaint? The "glowing embers" only crackled for a day or so -- but they still glow and look beautiful!

Product was received in a timely manner, It was packaged very well as was very impressed with the quality of the product. Much larger log set than I thought it would be.The instruction were easy to follow. For a quicker installation purchase a gas flex line it makes the installation a lot easier. I would recommend this product to a friend.

This log set is a very good value for the price.However,the connection pipe is too short to reach the opposite side and too long for the close side.Unless you have a pipe bender,your best bet is to purchase a flexible gas connector which is what should come with the set in the first place.

Installation took buying some shorter pipe than was supplied, but otherwise went ok. The fire looks real and produces nice heat, I'd definitely buy it again.

After shopping for weeks on the internet, I stumbled onto this fireplace gas log set. The price was too good to be true. I was skeptical. But after reading the reviews I went ahead and order it. I mean, $100?? Sure enough it was here via the UPS guy in about a week. At 4pm today when I got home early I decided to go for it. It was just a few minutes after 5pm when I lit the fire place for the first time! And that included a trip to Orchard to get an elbow. (Not a missing part from the kit, I just wanted the gas feed to take a right angle out of the floor.) Can you believe it? An hour to install it? The logs look very realistic and the build quality is very good. If you are looking for a gas log fireplace set-up, in my humble opinion, this is the deal of the century! Now, back to the crackling fire…
