You want to be sure the remote you purchase matches the electronics of your garage door. We have a Marantec 4500e and this is the perfect match. You can clone the settings from the remote you have if you have one and it works (we didn't) or program it to the unit itself which was extremely easy with the directions that came with the door. Range is excellent -- we can start to open the door while still a ways away so it is completely open by the time we pull up to the door, without a wait.

I got this for my wife to gain entry to my son's garage during the rainy season so that she can load the grandchildren up dry and sheltered from the cold outside . My daughter-in-law was so excited about the price , she asked me to order 2 more (just in case). It was very easy to copy the signal signature from the other remote .

It took a little bit to finally find the right code....but it finally worked

Yes if all the parts had been there. I didn't realize until I read the instructions that I was missing the tiny prongs that forward the code. I only hope that is if I call Maratec they can tell me how to put in the CODE for the door.

Other than needing some instruction on connecting to the home unit, the opener has worked perfectly. Easy to use and perfect size as well.

REMEMBER, because this is a replacement, there is no instruction regarding programming. We were able to find instrucions on that trusty Tube site. Everything went smoothly. Will be buying another, AND it will definitely be from Home Depot!

this was the easiest opener remote to setup no getting up on a ladder and trying to push a little button and the remote at the same time. This is so easy to program this remote and the clip for it really holds the remote in place and isn't going to break if you take it off like others I have had genie, or craftsman.

I went online to Home Depot and purchased the remote and then went to YouTube and learned how simple it was to sync the two remotes This saved a lot of money! This is an amazing product. Simple to program and very affordable. I literally programmed the opener in under 15 seconds. Connected the old opener to the new opener and pushed the button. That's all it took.

Works good. Had to go online to a blog to a have someone give THEIR personal explanation of programming. My Garage Door Opener is an older model, so NO information is available on Mfr website. Otherwise, would be 5 stars.

I was so glad I was able to find this remote at Home Depot for such an good price. I purchased 2 remotes; they were very easy to program using the programming pin that was included with each remote. And the batteries were included!

This was the easiest to sync garage door opener I've ever had. Love it. We had no choice of opener, as we purchased a house with this garage door system already installed, and just needed a 2nd remote. In other places I've lived, buying a 2nd opener and trying to sync it has been a frustrating experience. Why can't all garage door systems be this easy.

Well first I want to say that I received my order earlier than the original scheduled delivery. The garage door opener was easy to link to my existing opener and works perfectly.

I have had a Marantec garage door and openers for the past 10 years. I needed to replace a broken one of the openers as it was lost. The ease of transferring the code was ease. The style is great, small and stream lined. Also I saved up to 50% on the purchase as HD has the best price. Thanks HD.
