So-so quality, but what do you expect for $40? Mine had no defects, but it may be a candidate for duct tape repair in the future. I bought it primarily to hold 2 clamp lights with LED bulbs. 34 inch spread from one leg end to the next.

Works great. It was a gift for our son in law for when he works on his Harley into the night.

Originally was fine, but after about 1 year - one of the glass lenses in the unit just shattered and broke for no reason while I was using it outside working in the yard. Glass should be able to handle heat of the halogen bulbs it comes supplied with. Haven't abused or misused it. Also, the tripod stand no longer works, because the knurls which tighten the stand once you get the proper height you want - are made of plastic which cracked and won't tighten. I guess you get what you pay for - which in this case is junk.

I purchased this work light from Home Depot last weekend. When I started to assemble the light, I noticed one of the handles for locking one of the lights into position was busted. I exchanged the light at Home Depot with no issues. The same night, I assembled the light in its entirety only to discover that the thumbscrew used to tighten and secure the legs once extended does not tighten enough to actually lock the base into position. This causes issues as the tripod stand is wobbly, unsecure, and when you go to lift/move the light, the legs are mobile. The overall construction also seems to be quite "loose" and not well put together. I like the design, the overall extension height, variable bulb usage, and the ability to remove the light heads from the tripod, but this item has very poor craftsmanship, which is disappointing as I really enjoy my Husky ratchet set. I am going to take the second work light back to Home Depot as I should not have to worry about the quality of product I am purchasing and if it will even come out of the box in working condition.

Purchased new online, received used shabby light
I bought this light online for in-store pickup. I was in a rush so I didn't have time to inspect it before leaving. I may have had time, except that the staff spent ten-minutes taking selfies before helping me. Item had clearly been returned previously, as evidenced by the missing parts and trash (!) in the box.

            great procuct for the price
The tripod work light was purchased as a gift for my son-in-law. It ended up being better than he had hoped. It was very easy to get it set up to use and has work very well for projects he used it for.

Light is ok for the price
The light was easy to assemble but the quality of the lamp heads is mediocre and easily bends. So if it tips over, which it will unless your careful with your movements and extension cord, the lamps heads will bend some. It's probably good for more of a single home project and not likely to stand up to long term usage. I think the cord and plug are way too short.

            Great value
compared to the HDX brand that I had to return - this model was far superior. The tripod is sturdy, and the 4 lamp feature provides more redundancy and variability in lumen output.

            Work Light
Could not complete Assembly due to defective bracket. Took back and got second unit. Second unit also had bad bracket. This unit is junk. DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!!!

              Piece of Junk
I have had nothing but problems since I bought it. I purchased these in June of 2014. I put them together and right away a bracket broke that's the light mounts on. And the other day the foot that foot that acts as a stand welds broke by bumping them into a table. So I went to the HD in Seguin and they said they could not help me. I said it was a piece of junk. And I quote the HD sales person " Yes I agree with you Husky's stuff is that" Don't not buy these.

              Poorly made. Avoid!
Purchased for non-commercial use. Assembly revealed a couple missing small parts. Tripod seemed strong enough but one of the two lamps was DOA. Checked bulbs, they were ok, so the lamp housing was bad. Also noticed that housings will not seal tight so expect dust, insects, moisture etc, to get in over time. Also mount has a lot of sway to it by design and with exception of tripod other parts feel very flimsy.

                poor quality
I've worked construction in the past and have had good luck with the work lights I've bought from Home Depot, but after using these for about a month I don't expect them to last very long, which is very disappointing. I'm in the middle of a kitchen remodel so I needed a good amount of light while the power is off, so these seemed liked they'd be the right choice. While setting up this light I noticed that the screws seamed to be low quality so I made sure I didn't over tighten them for fear of stripping them out. The screws that lock the vertical rotation are not fixed and immediately started spinning, so you cant tighten them down. The latch the "locks" the lights into the tripod is loose, so the lights teeter back and forth, and you have to watch to make sure it doesn't fall open when moving the lights. And to top it off within 3 weeks all 4 light bulbs that they supplied had burnt out, and I've been installing these types of bulbs for years without any issues, I know how to do it, so it was not user error. All in all, I'm extremely disappointed in this product and would not recommend it.

                Questionable Quality Control
Set up light before I turned it on , mistake as 1 light did not turn on. I followed directions & wore vinyl gloves inserting bulbs. Returned it for a replacement . . This time I set up the 2 Lights first. The cover screw goes through two sets of threads, one on the cover itself & one in the housing. The threads on the cover on the 2nd light were stripped and it would not close or tighten. I never did try to light it. These were the same lights with different Sku #'s , one was a newer design model w same price Three 40 minute round trips - no light, got a refund

                  Good product
Like the construction and option to increase intensity by 300 watt steps. Good item for the price
