Killed my lawn
This killed every piece of my grass that it touched despite watering the lawn regularly in the weeks after application. Was mostly fescue.

We wanted to make our lawn healthier and we were recommended this product. My husband applied it to our lawn as directed on the package and it completely destroyed our lawn. The grass was burned and it looked horrible. Definitely would not recommend this product.

We apologize that you were not thoroughly satisfied with Scotts Turf Builder Lawn Fertilizer. When used according to label instructions the product does not damage the grass. While there is a safety factor built into the product, too much product can cause damage. When temperatures consistently above 85 degrees, water immediately after application to reduce stress on your lawn. We recommend a watering program of 1/2" of water every 2 to 3 days. Follow this watering plan for at least 3 weeks following the application. Most lawns will recover given time. We want you to be confident about our products. I for-go the “four step” lawn maintenance & just adhere to Scotts Lawn Food! My wife took a picture of a rainbow during the rain & she said people were saying, forget the rainbow, look at that green front lawn! Thanks Scotts for a top notch product!

Green grass!!
My St. Augustine grass was dying a slow death. I was watering correctly however I didn’t give it the food it needed. I’ve added two pictures for you to see the results. They were taken 6 weeks apart. Get the right product and a spreader (must have), and don’t overdo it! Follow the “make a plan”...Scott’s website makes sure you get the right product and how much to apply. Done.

Burnt my lawn
My lawn was fine before using the product. Yea, there was clover in the yard, but it's not a weed killer product. PH was fine. I know that's always the excuse from the company, but there's no excuse for it killing my grass. After one application, half the yard has brown spots, and the smaller area is burnt from one side to the other. I just wanted greener and thicker grass, now I have brown dead grass.

Great Results
After getting great results with Scotts crabgrass preventer last year, I decided to introduce the Scotts Lawn food this year a couple of weeks after the crabgrass application.
My lawn’s lush and green. Several bare spots have filled in nicely. I have been using Milorganite for several years but decided to drop it as I don’t like the smell of poop on my yard and results have been so-so (dark green look but no lush growth). Also Milo’s price has been going up and applying it above 10 on a rotary spreader is too much product vs at 3.5 with the Scotts Lawn Food.

Beautiful green grass
We built our house last year and just had grass planted last fall. I put this on the front lawn a couple of weeks ago not knowing if it would make any difference. As you can see from the pictures it worked so well that now I need to go buy more to even out the color of my yard! You can see where I made one trip down the hill and where I ran out.

Lawn Has Not Improved
Bought product April 18th, put on lawn 20th, today's the 27th... No improvement.
Neighbors referred your product. I was excited to use. Our lawn has never been this bad. After a week of daily watering, weather in 80s.. the dead spots are still there. I feel a waste of $18.00 & funds are low during Covid-19. I emailed but no response.. What will your company do for me please? Used Scott's Turf Builder Fertalizer.

Triple actoin works great.
I tried this product for the first time and I was impressed by what I saw. I have been plagued with fire ants in my lawn so I decided to try scotts Triple action it rained the evening after I applied and to my surprise ant mound dead.

Did nothing for the dandelions and weeds
I bought a bag of this for my lawn with hopes of killing the weeds and dandelions and did not get any results at all. My lawn is currently covered in dandelions.

Very pleased with the results thus far! This is my first year using this and I have only used one...
Very pleased with the results thus far! This is my first year using this and I have only used one application but so far so good. My yard is as thick and green as it has ever been. You can see a difference in my yard compared to my neighbor's, how much thicker it is. I will definitely be applying this a couple more times this year.

The only product you need!!
I used the Scotts 4 step program fo 2 years, my lawn had gotten so thick and green that no weeds or crabgrass can even work their way into my lawn anymore! So the ONLY PRODUCT that I use is Scotts Turf Builder! Most of my nabors use lawn care companys and their lawns are not as green and thick as mine! They dont belive that this is all that I use!! I highly recommed Scotts to EVERYONE!!! THANK YOU Bill.....Austintown Oh.

Feeds the lawn and turns winter brown to green in 1 to 2 weeks. Nitrogen is a key factor to putting the 'green' color back in the grass and Scotts Turf Builder has the highest percentage of Nitrogen of products on the market.
We already keep weeds out of our lawn by simply removing any that start. Since we have that under control, it is hand picking the weeds when they try to get started in our lawn.
Since we do not have weeds, the primary reason that I use the Turf Builder is to feed the grass to strengthen it and turn it green again. I do applications of the Turf Builder in the Spring, one or two times in the Summer and in the Fall.
I have used this product for more than a decade and remain very satisfied with the results.

Once in two different directions to make sure I don't miss any spots. I have one of the greenest and thickest lawns in my neighborhood. You can clearly see in the attached picture where my lawn ends and my neighbors starts.
