Building a RAM hydraulic pump with it,

I have a low emmitter drainage problem where it would take 3 hours to stop dripping at the bottom of the hill after valve shut off. It was easy to install the check valve and now it stops draining in about 1.5 hours. I wish it had some way to adjust the PSI higher so I can further reduce the drainage time.

I have installed four of these in my 40-60psi system over the last eight months. Each has failed for the same reason. The rubber gasket at the seat of the valve comes un-adhered during operation of my home fresh water system. I live remotely so I have to keep one on the shelf for emergencies; will be looking elsewhere for the next replacement.

Had on on for awhile and then started leaking right in the middle. I'm running 90psi but this is rated for 150. I got another brand new one and turn on the system and the new one leaks right away

This pvc check valve is very easy to install and performs adequately. Unfortunately, if your sprinkler system is well based and the water has any solids you will need to replace this valve every 12 to 18 months. The piston driven check valves have this issue which I suspect is non existent with city water irrigation. Take the extra time to install this with additional pipe lengths so that you can cut as necessary and restore with a single coupling.

Good help with the purchase as the guy figured out a solution. Found an easier way to complete my project so I returned the parts. That went smoothly also. I'm satisfied.

My single point shallow point well ran for 4 years for most of the winters. The only reason I replaced it was because of a seal problem at the threads. Probably my fault for not using enough tape on it.

It along with a union quieted our condensate drain pump

I am using this product for my pool system. It is installed right after the pool heater and before the in-line chlorination unit. The adapters screwed in perfectly and no leaks have occurred. I would recommend this product to anyone in need.
