Q:can you recommend a water pressure booster to be installed at the output of this system so that it can be connected to the ice maker?
by|Jun 3, 2018

Answer This Question
A: This unit has a booster pump on it.
If the output pressure is low, check the air pressure on the storage tank. They have a bladder that leaks after several years and need to be replaced. When the tank bladders get leaky the output pressure drops. That should boost up the pressure quite a bit.

Q:Can this be connected to the water line to the refrigerator?
by|May 25, 2018
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Yes all of our RO’s can be connected to a refrigerator line. Must have adequate pressure to feed both. Meaning if the refrigerator requires a minimum of 50psi and the homes incoming water pressure is 50psi then it will not work because the RO will only produce 60% of the home’s incoming pressure; therefore, the pressure from the RO to the fridge would only be at 30psi, and that would not be enough pressure for the fridge to function properly.

Q:Question for the manufacturer: It doesn't make sense that this product contains a Prop 65 warning and cannot be sold in California as a result of chemicals thought to cause cancer or reproductive harm. Is the sale restriction on this model a result of the type of carbon in the filter and if so can it be substituted out for a compliant cartridge (such as the coconut shell variety)?

Answer This Question
A: Prop65 does not mean a product cannot be sold in the State of California, it simply means the product must carry a warning about certain chemicals that may be present in the product. For more information on Watts compliance with California's Prop65, please visit http://www.watts.com/pages/prop65.asp
