A: nani, The Home Depot does offer delivery, installation, and haul away. During the checkout process, if these services are available in your area, you will be given the options to select. Thank you for viewing this Whirlpool home appliance.
A: It can be turned off. Select your wash cycle then press the right select option button until the heated dry light turns off.
A: Anonymous, Great question. You have the ability to turn heated dry off and on. It is an option to every cycle and does not have to be used. On the control panel beside the start button is an option to turn heated dry on/off. Thank you for viewing this Whirlpool home appliance.
A: njmom, This dishwasher does not have a steam option for the wash cycles. Whirlpool Corporation doesn't use steam in the drying process, we feel that steam is better used after the rinse prior to drying. Our dishwashers that offer steam use this option to remove oils and smudges like fingerprints from glassware and other items with a glossy surface. Our steam option not only removes these types of soils but also reduces and many times will eliminate spotting on glassware and like items as well. Thank you.
A: njmom, This dishwasher does not offer a steam dry option. Take a look at the Maytag dishwashers that offer Steam. Thank you for viewing this model.
A: I did not see this option when I read the manual, nor is it listed as an option on the washer itself.
A: Anonymous, Universal Silver is a painted finished that is meant to compliment Stainless Steel or be an alternative to Stainless. It looks great and doesn't require the same maintenance. However, it isn't Stainless. Thank you for viewing this Whirlpool dishwasher.
A: yes
A: There is a one hour wash setting on the control panel.
A: yes, it does. have had the washer for about 4 months now and it works great.
A: Yes
A: No. A one-hour short cycle is almost non-existant because of the new energy-saving requirements on newer dish washers. Instead of a rigorous short washing cycle, newer machines use a longer on-and-off series of washings using the same water several times. The newer method seems to help dissolve hardened food on dishes better.
A: Yes it does.
A: Yes, it has Heavy, Normal, One Hour, Eco, and Overnight cycles.
A: Yes it does
A: Yes, but be sure not to use any dishwashing detergent in the washing area when you do this. That way you'll get a clear plain water rinse.
A: cannot answer that question for you, but it sounds like a good idea. try it and see if you like the results.
A: Haven't tried it but booklet says it uses less energy than heavy cycle and is for heavy amounts of food soil. Says without options wash time is 400-455 minutes using 5.2 gallons of water.
A: Its used for heavy soiled dishes. it uses less energy but has a longer cycle. The cycle is about 6 to 7 hours ong, reason to do it during the night.
A: Kevin, Thank you for viewing this Whirlpool dishwasher. Below is the description for the Overnight Cycle. You should find the information helpful. Overnight Cycle The Overnight cycle quietly soaks your dishes with an extended prewash and then runs a Heavy Wash cycle to clean tough soils. This industry-exclusive, 7-hour cycle optimizes water efficiency, without using more energy or disrupting household activities.
A: It basically runs on & off throughout the night and uses less water. Its a nice cycle to have.
A: There are 2 sprayer arms. One just below the top drawer, and one below the bottom drawer. There is no sprayer above the top drawer if that is your question.
A: No. the upper arm is under the top rack.
A: No, so you can fit tall things in the top. The dishes are always clean!
A: There is a spray arm just under the top rack with the water supply at the back.
A: Yes it does have a spray arm on the top rack and works very well.
A: Yes, it has
A: Yes, there is a spray arm mounted below the top tray.
A: The sprayer arm for the top is underneath the rack.
A: It has a sprayer, but not a movable sprayer arm.
A: Yes it does, there are 2 sprayer arms top and bottom
A: chris, Universal silver is meant to be a compliment to Stainless Steel. It is a little easier to care for and will blend in well. Thank you for viewing this Whirlpool home appliance.
A: I'm not sure it would if they are right next to each other. We actually have black appliances and this was the first to break down. We liked that it had black on it and it's on the opposite side of the kitchen, so it seems to blend, plus our cabinets are very dark. It has a dull finish, so it doesn't have that "shine" that you get from stainless. I think it could work if there's some space in between your dishwasher and other appliances...plus, it's low to ground, it's not as noticeable as say a fridge. hope this helps!
A: Absolutely! We have a universal silver dishwasher and fridge along side a stainless steel range in our home. The only real difference is that the universal silver is more smudge and fingerprint proof than the stainless and the universal silver is just a touch lighter than the stainless.
A: Anywhere from 60-455 minutes (overnight) according to booklet but options like heat dry would add more time. I use normal usually which takes up to 2 hours without heated dry
A: I typically chose the heavy cycle along with the heating option for the drying cycle. On average, the machine runs 4 hours. But, it is very energy efficient and we have not noticed an increase in either our water bill nor the electricity.
A: Depends on the cycle and options. The manual (Whirlpool User Guide) states: Heavy (for all soil) runs 150 minutes typical - max 210 minutes Normal (light to medium soil) runs 110 minutes typical - max 170 minutes Normal (heavy soil) runs 150 minutes typical - max 210 minutes Eco (all soil) runs 110 minutes typical - max 170 minutes 1-hr Wash (all soil) runs 60 minutes typical - max 65 minutes So runtime will depend on soil level as well as options selected and what mode (eg. how much water you want to use). So far I've only run mine on Normal but plan on testing\using the other modes at some point.
A: It depends on the cycle you set, there is a 1 hr wash but I haven't used it. It's so quiet that I don't know exactly how long it runs on the normal wash setting, but everything is clean as can be when it's done & that matters more to me than how long it runs. I LOVE THIS DW !
A: Depends which mode, there is a 1 hour mode and up to a 6-7 hour mode.
How can we help?
